@walmis I was at the FSExpo in Las Vegas (a.k.a. Sin City) over the weekend. Virpil has a new grip that I'm quite excited about -- the FLNKR. There's nothing on the web about it yet that I can find, but it is part of a new "Expert Series" product line. Its body and trigger are metal, and it has a new hat design. One of my peeves about the Alpha and Alpha Prime Virpil grips that I had, but sold, is that I found it very difficult to press down on a hat without also actuating one of the other switches on the hat (L/R/U/D). The new hat locks into its center when slightly pressed down, which prevents that -- very clever. The grip feels great (it is pretty large though) and I was told that it's a replica of the grip that's in some Su jets.
I forgot to ask how much it will cost, but I'm not sure they would've told me. No release date yet.
I mention it only b/c I want to get it on your long-range A-A radar in terms of button/hat support on the Rhino. I will be holding off on buying the grip until that support is in place... It's shown in the product catalog I got at the show. EDIT: I just found some images of some of the new products: https://imgur.com/a/virpil-fsexpo-2024-hardware-pics-1Mq6as9
They also have a new Cadet grip that's coming out, and (not that it matters here) a new Expert Series "VMax Prime" throttle.
I know I read it somewhere but cant find it atm. VKB sticks, I need the blackbox to read the stick buttons, I guess I also need a longer cable and the final question the connector? What exactly is needed?
Will do when its time for the making of the actual order itself, forgot to do it on the preorder thingy. I am still quite a long way off but VKB is now in stock
Shop Cerakote AZTEC TEAL H-349. Find the coating that fits your application. Choose from a wide variety of coatings with specific attributes and specialties.
it's only been about a month and a bit. But since it's cerakote I have significantly more confidence in it than the factory e-coat that peels on older MCGUs
no, all the labels are gone except for the brake lever/lot code text that i specifically told him to mask off (and even then he ran into difficulties and only preserved part of it)
i'm trying to think of anything. I don't know how the T50 looks internally so I'm not sure if there's specifics. There was a little bit of concern over fine pitch threads everywhere inside the MCGU (it has a lot of screw posts), but it wasn't a problem.
@walmis here it is. The first screens is how I set it up. As I said, when tested dry, works like expected. But when loaded with TelemFFB in game (pedal mode static) the curve looks like the last picture (cut off always on the right side). The pedal in this case is limb to the right and stiff to the left.
FWIW, if I import your profile (just using configurator), the gain map looks like the cut-off one in your last screenshot. I recreated the gain map you show.. works fine at first in the same configurator session.
Without using TelemFFB... Reload normal profile...Close configurator...open configurator...load center detent profile... looks like the cut-off one again. I think its either a read-issue or a write-issue with configurator.
