VIt's super bad when you work for a school or something and have to work from home...and then windows pulls some bs like the one drive thing. All the sudden MS is sucking up school staff files cuz reasons.
VProbably why the head office is running on macs now

JI'm pretty happy I got back over the hump and my GPU is mostly usable except for a few firefox shatters
VYeah... I'm glad I'm not in administration. I just bring my linux laptop for stuff I don't have to use a school issued device for if I can.
JEducation/Enterprise version almost doesn't hate you entirely but you still end up downstream from the general decisions there

WI ended up buying a second PC just to run Foobar2000 in a Internetless windows 10 install.
Then with a 3.5mm jack I plumb the audio into my Line in from the media PC to my PC.
then using Helvum I plumb the line in into my USB soundcard to headphones.

WI've yet to get a seemless Foobar2000 in Linux, there's always some issue. A plugin not working, audio popping, random pauses etc.
JMy favorite thing about foobar2000 is when I accidently overwrite my entire playlist because I was on the wrong one when I double clicked something

WNo native Linux app has been able to import my media library well either, 800GB music folder sorted manually by folders, everything hates that.

Jig technically you could kill pipewire and make stuff work but probably not worth the hassle
