Ubuntu Keeps crashing after 24.04 update

I have Ubuntu installed along with windows dual booted on my Dell Latitude e6410. After the 24.04 update Ubuntu crashes a few minutes after booting. (screen freezes, mouse locks up, no HDD activity).

only thing I seen is to reinstall the kde desktop to fix it without any explanation

don't have an ally but since it's a charging problem you could open an issue on github or #bazzite-help for better tracking

I can game on it and watch videos. It only happens when it's lowering power, I've seen Intel machines have success with acpi settings, but I don't think we have them in and bios

hey, on steam, isn't there supposed to be an option when right clicking games to delete their proton prefix? i don't see the option.

that kinda sounds like you need something like log-messages so you can monitor dmesg in between boots

look into see if rsyslog is an option for you, we use that at my work to diagnose machines that tend to crash randomly with our software, it writes to /var/log/messages whatever you configure it to write, we have it setup to write dmesg logs

can't even get enough time between boots to view the log. I think Kubuntu is just a wash and everyone is right
