SI think double trim is a problem with cyclic that trim and goes to center position.
NThe only way is to not bind the trim button in the game (it only understands sprung joystick logic) and then use either the hardware trim in configurator or, if you are using it, the hardware trim in TelemFFB.
If you have the trim button bound in the game it will double the inputs since it expects the joystick to be sprung and thinks you are going to let the stick go back to center after you have pushed the trim button.

SIt currently works as having no spring would like to have spring force and using the trim release to force trim
NDelete the trim binding in the game... that will only work for sprung joysticks that always return to center as you've seen (regardless of the trim mode you select in its special settings).

Shm do you know how to make the trim up/down/left/right in telem recognise my trim switch (got a WW F-16EX) and it seems to only recognise buttons but not the 8way hat....
NI think it will only work if you have "hats as buttons" enabled in configurator.

NWould be a q for walmis. As it stands currently, doesn’t look like the pov hats come through in the input report we get from the api in TelemFFB.

WHave a question about the Configurator "Store Setting" button. After adjusting the various effects to my liking, I then click the "Apply Settings" button and then the "Store Settings" button. Should those settings survive a power down of the stick. If so, mine doesn't seem to be doing that. It is always comes back up with the "factory" settings after a power up.
UPDATE: I did some more testing and it seems that powering down the Rhino (using the power disconnect button) and then restarting my pc, restoring power to the stick and the starting the configurator keeps the last loaded settings. However, when I started my pc and stick after them being powered off overnight, it returned to default settings.

RWhere is latest default config. Getting really bad reverberation with ch47 and my stick is going crazy and erroring out. Resetting doesn’t work with button or motor reset. Belt tension is good. It’s definitely something to do with the spring hz setting and natural dampening compensation.
RVery frustrating. I want to start from scratch to see if it fixes it
WI have had something like that happen if I power up the stick with Pot 1 turned to 100% and the spring slider is at 100%
RI always run both at 100 haven’t had issues until latest dcs update.
RI have however had issues with reverb in the past related to changing settings and my 40cm extension

Rive had to close it and reopen to make any changes then after about 5 min its becomes unresponsive.
AStore Settings absolutely should store to the firmware and should survive any restart/unplugging of your computer or the device.

JI'm curious if anyone else has had issues with centering of the sick and what they've done to resolve it? I've had the base for almost a year.

I have an extension with a decent offset so it's not naturally balanced. Ultimately whatever setting I try, it won't hold a tight center. It's always off, and based on its previous movement direction it's off by a different amount. This causes lots of issues when trimming, especially force trim in helicopters. I've fiddled with this so many times, but I almost never get consistent behaviors. Especially after recalibrating. I'm pretty lost at this point. Any ideas or help would be grateful.

WDid you try balance spring + adaptive recentering?
Jyes, I can't get balance spring to do anything consistent either. Adaptive recentering is a bit slow and throws off the trim.

WWhat’s the distance between gimbal centre and grip connector? I’m trying to work out how long of an extension I want to get for my mounting setup that will roughly match my Virpil CM3 with 200mm extension plus Z-extension that adds about another 100mm. Cheers.
