* No. MCG Ultimate has basically the same parts where the maximum stress is; so it probably breaks at the same load MCG would. I have owned both versions and opened them up. In any case the plastic VKB adapter will always break long before the grip would - which is a good thing because it is easy to replace
* You are right about the significance of grip weight! However, Ultimate is not that heavy; I'm using one with a 10 cm extension right now. With say 20 cm you'd want to use balance spring and ARC and you will notice its higher inertia. RL grips are made light for a reason.
