DOn the other hand, when you go to screw it onto the Rhino...go very quietly otherwise you risk damaging the Rhino's screw thread (3d printing is therefore more fragile).

KThe "Machined Aluminum Grip Mount Upgrade for Rhino" is really worth the price in my opinion. I use the PA12 printed version at the moment. It is ok as long as you are carefully and don't change the grip/extension often. But I've one aluminum here and will change it next time I change something at my rhino or simpit.
DYeah you're right. Unfortunately I didn't know this when I placed the initial order. So I took the plans supplied by Walmis and printed them out more solidly.

FIf 2 diy kits are ordered for a total of 4motors, can 2motors be used for a Collective and Rudder application with the same Vpforce software? Is this supported? So bassicaly a Joystick with 2 motors, and collective and rudders with one motor each? Thanks

AI have the P1S (with the casing) and I have been pretty happy with it. Especially how compared to my previous ender it just delivers without me constantly calibrating stuff. The P1S does have a slow processor and camera, but I got the hardened nozzle and extruder anyway, so it is not that different in performance any more from the x1c

MI’ve had that since I was a kid got it on vacation in Hawaii! I can’t even color inside the lines so sculpture is out of my wheel house
MI think the design is solid but the issue was on Moza’s side, which caused pressure in areas not expecting that pressure, on my back up adaptor I had to drill 4 alignment holes that are raised on the moza base. These allowed for a flush mount to the bad with the adaptor.

Ayeah it has held well for me for over 1½ years now (except one that broke in a game of W-F when someone input completely braindead settings into my rhino), but now that I've been working on a rebuild of my pit and taking things apart repeatedly, I kind of think I'd like a premium version of that

DNot sure how tall those 4 pegs are, but could you just 3D print a special 5-hole-washer instead?

MI don’t own a 3D printer “yet” but I could but I like metal better! The 4 holes also help with un intended rotation
MProtrudes 1.3 to 1.5 mm. I have not measured so that’s my best guess
SI am still trying to understand how you are able to decide exactly where to drill the four holes.
MMy wife’s nail polish! Didn’t have a paint pen. But I placed a dot of polish on each of the 4 pins and the put the adaptor on and didn’t over tighten and then removed and drilled the marks. Also made sure the drill head was just slightly larger than the pin to ensure it fit over
*be carefull with the new update... stick went so hard forward in DCS Tomcat that it snapped Rhino thread in half...

DHello to all! I am trying to make my diy ffb rhino ( Winger ) to work with IL2 sturmovik and have an issue with that. I only use ffb configurator not telemffb yet and i am loosing spring tension effect while trying to fly in IL2. I have enabled ffb inside il2 and when i disable it i am not loosing spring effect from my ffb rhino joystick. I have read somewhere else for another guy facing the same issue. I also face regular il2 crashes ( game suddenly stops and throws me out) when i use diy rhino ffb. Any solution to this? Thanks!

HI somehow destroyed the threads on my 20 mm Virpil extension. Suspecting it’s not up to handling the forces of the rhino. Ordered a 10 mm straight extension now to see if it will hold. So word of warning there, even though the gooseneck looks awesome and feels good.
KI don't have any problem with it. But I don't use my Rhino as a muscle training machine. I like to have feedback not Arm wrestling.

HPuny! No idea how I did it, truth be told. It just went wonky between the grip and extension. Maybe I’m just too awesome?
*Try to tighten the screws that connect virpil extension with the top of the extension with the threads... it's two separate parts and can get loose... I lost a few months of trying to tighten tge stick better to not have clinging left right... in the end, it was all about the top of the extension and not the threads or the grip...
