They don't stop at the end temperature (that wouldn't make much sense) - it's just where they reach their maximum (set) speed. Your fan settings are fine. If anything put the maximum speed to 100 if you need more cooling. But from your description, I don't necessarily think it is a temp problem. Or at least we can't be sure.
Just a sudden thought that I should’ve figured out how long an extension this can handle before buying, I’ll be somewhere between 250-300mm I think, will the standard motors work well or am I SOL

It depends on what you will be using it for and how much force you are wanting to get from it. For my use (mostly jet fighters and dogfights) I have the standard rhino without extensions as a side stick and @SR-FWinger[73]_David monster rhino kit with the stronger 86 motors for extensions as a center stick.
Hi! I recently did a update of both the firmware and the software for my VPFORCE base. Ever since I experience random high force jerks (to the left). In some occasions it overpowers the motor and I need to restart the base. Do anyone else experience the same?
*Resolved: I will leave this here in the event any one else has a similar issue. For some strange reason there is a conflict between my Razor Tartarus and the Rhino, but only with FS2020. If they are both plugged in FS2020 will black screen on boot. Got a real strange one, FS2020 black screen on boot, only when the Rhino is plugged in. Tried different cables, its now directly plugged into the IO on the mobo. all drivers, BIOS and firmware across the board all updated to the latest. Only seems to be impacting FS2020.
At least not obviously. Sorry, I‘m out of ideas currently. Given how the telemetry and TelemFFB with DCS works, I find it unlikely that only specific aircraft crash the Rhino - unless there are settings that causes it. But I don’t know for sure of course. I would still assume some power instability. But I can’t explain why only those air raft are affected. @walmis or @Number481 will probably have better ideas….. sorry
I would check the wiring. I currently have loose contacts on my Rhino joystick. But I am still looking for the location. It is either the cables on the emergency stop switch or the data cables of the motors on the Rhino mainboard.
Questions: I use fs2020 and have a dedicated H145 sim cockpit.
Can the trim release on the rhino be bound to any joystick button not plugged into the base? I use a max flight control which has its own USB controller box.
4 axis heli. AP moves the cyclic automatically. Can the Rhino follow that?
Hey @FlatSpin, So the last Shipped RHINO is #0779 on 2024-11-12 Average waiting time from preorder to shipped is 208 days, median is 210 days, max is 437 days 746 Rhinos are shipped in total
Does anyone have a good DCS A10 profile? I find that the oscillations often cancel the autopilot. Did mess around with some stuff last night but haven’t had a chance to test yet.

worked generally fine during the tech alpha last month. AFAIK, it is working generally fine for those rhino owners who may be on development teams and have been participating in the dev alpha. Neither of those are "complete builds" though, so its anyones guess what we'll see on release day.
