Thank you. And what about if I have 3 boards connected all at once, does the software all me to see all three or do you have disconnect each board from usb and do one board at a time for programming?
Hi guys, just got my collective calibrated with 86 motor on a gear box. Due to the length of the pole and the grip (metal) I'm not sure if I need to counter balance or the motor is strong enough. Not really sure what I should set. Currently I have the grip off, set the spring 100% and then found a setting for static force which I set to 50% so now when I move the collective handle it stays were I left it. Global gains and Global effects are at zero.
@H145Rotor-Sims i think you should always counterweight a collective control since speed of movement is not an issue so extra mass should not hurt anything
Hi Tony, I have it connected to a 10:1 gear box and noticed if I set static force it can balance but I am using this strictly for the H145 HPG. I'm reading the documentation on it and it mentions to use balance spring and adaptive force to bring it to center. So I'm not sure if I'm not allowed to use static force in conjuction with that
I dont mean to use the forces on the motor to balance...i mean to attach a physical weight to the end of the tube to balance the entire arm before ever putting it on the motor.

probably best to extend the rear with a slightly larger tube and attack the weights to that...even a pvc tube to fit inside the collective tube and still have the wire come through the middle
aside from constant power draw and possible heat in the motors not really...but if the motor powers off or ps shuts off the the copter is going down unless you constantly hold the collective in place...hard balance w weights eliminates that issue
I'm not sure what this really needs to be set to properly working in fs2020 the manual mentions the balance spring and adaptive re-entering but makes no mention of static force
