Sorry, went to reply to this a few times but the day got away from me. Looks like the documentation I was using was outdated or something. Using the correct screws helps. Just got it mounted and am happy with the way it looks at first. Did you have any degredation issues or problems with the bolts loosening? Or was it pretty solid during your time using it?

I had no trouble mounting it. I had taken the MTS support for the Rhino and no problems after the first few uses. Now I've had the Rhino for 7 months and it's holding perfectly. I'm sure I'll have to tighten the screws in a few months, but everything's holding! I've put some photos in the "showcase" sub-section, so you should be able to find them easily.

Better to ask @walmis for the current lead times. I have the feeling that the stats stated by the bot are not that relevant anymore. (and of course you can have one much faster as a DIY-kit)

Hello, with my order number coming up, I have some questions so I can plan.

I am currently running a 200 mm extension for my VKB MCGU, I like it a lot, so would prob prefer a similar feel.

Does anyone have experience or ideas in terms of extension needed for the Rhino for something similar? I've heard some people say extensions are not required.

I've been looking for an excuse to try the WW F-16EX grip, provided an adapter is used does it work well with the Rhino (e.g., any missing buttons or axis)? Also any thoughts on extensions for the F-16EX grip?

The Rhino has quite a long lever to the connection thread per default. To equalize with your current throw length a 10mm extension will probably be sufficiant. In the knowledge base you find technical drawings were those measures are laid out.

That doesn't mean though that 20cm doesn't work. A lot of people (me included) use a 20cm gooseneck extension.

Offset is no problem. There are plenty of options to balance an offset or heavy grip.

The goal is that with all effects off you can move the stick to any position and it holds there. You can also play with the "static force" setting to achieve the desired effect. I ended up not needing any balance spring, but just a bit of static force. It all depends on your setup.

In fact, I would start with the static force if any balancing is needed.
My Approach is this. Turn off all effects and center the stick dead on the middle of the grid. If it drops significantly in any direction, apply static force until it doesn't.
Now place the stick to the second to last corner on the grid. First north than south than west than east than nw, ne, sw, se. Etc. The stick should drop in the direction you put it with the same "speed". If not tune the static force accordingly.
If you have difficulties balancing or a very long extension/ heavy grip, you may add some friction before starting the process.
After that you can add some balancing spring.

My approach is that static force is meant to offset any weight imbalance of the physical stick (e,g. due to a gooseneck extension), and balancing spring is meant to help to keep the stick balanced in any position offset "center" position you put it. E.g. by trimming. I maybe wrong, but that worked pretty well for me.

Yep yep for me and my bro. He’s the one who 3d printed my Rhino on his X1

Works great in games and I really really love not just how it looks but how solid it feels when you’ve pulled it and got it in your hands.

Yes it’s two parts: A handle with a pin and a Base to the chair. Works very similar to how they work in real life

It’s basically just an Arduino box using a “breakaway switch” which is the pull pin part.

Note that this person's issue turned out to be their USB hub. After connecting the Rhino directly to the PC it started working fine.

Finally got Pilot Trimmer working. This after a lot of fiddling in the Configurator. I finally got the grip balanced with dot in blue circle. Not sure whether that was necessary but now the trimmer button works as expected. Pot#1 is at 15%. Thanks!

I had the opportunity to test the Moza Mh16 Grip and would like to buy it. I love the Warthog stick but it wheighs 1.2 Kg. The Mh16 is only 570 gram made of Aluminum. Do you think it works out of the box with the Vpforce Controller like the Warthog as a Generic Grip?
