When the disconnect happens it would be good to see the voltages on the configurator in case maybe the problem is the power supply or a faulty e stop switch.

I have this issue as well because I use an outside connection USB controller and in my case I have to start two instances of it everytime and re-select my in/output. Is there a way you design the app so it's all in one where we map multiple instances of in/out? I know there may be a way in telemffb with master and child instance and I tried it but it didn't work. Number481 I think is looking into it.

Having some issues when trying to follow your guide.....basically, at -100, the stick will be held firmly fully forwards - I t will almost snap forwards once past the centre...I can move it back towards the centre, then it will become loose as it passes the centre point. At +100 setting, the stick wants to fall backwards, resistance increases the further forward I push it, but it does not snap back like it does when applying -100....If I set zero, the stick will fall backwards. Any percentage setting between will only affect the stick once it goes past centre, so I am no able to get it to stay where I place it with any setting.....why is this? I have everything unchecked as per the guide...here is my conf file

Hi Mark, first with no effects on etc perform the calibration procedure.
Next make sure effects are off click apply. Then on in the balance spring option make sure to unlink x and y and + and -. Click apply then work on each axis independently. Initially the stick will flop around depending on extension and weight. The goal is to get it to the point it isn't snapping back to center but instead stays where you put it. As for the oscillation that would be a question for walmis. Post screen shots of your setting and make a video if you can.

Yes. I also had this issue. I made a custom replacement alignment plate for the part shown with the arrow in the WW adapter that fits correctly.

I believe this is the file I used to replace the original arrow plate. You may need to slightly scale if it's too tight.

TelemFFB is a separate program from the configurator that adds more forces than are native to the sim using telemetry exported from the sim. Download and install from here.

The documentation on how to use and install it is in the Rhino manual. Assuming you are flying DCS, there may be one additional step for the installation to get it going which will be in the manual.

Having issues getting the brake axis and twist axis to be recognized for the constellation Alpha. Raw Values don't change when either axis is turned. Thumbstick axes work fine. Any tips on how to debug? Latest firmware installed v1.0.17b12 @walmis @Red Magic

Hi, OK, tried this again, and having similar issues I use a virpil Z extension on both my Rhinos, and when I have the stick at centre or forward of centre, I can adjust the negative balance spring value (approx 11%) to make it stay in a placed position. But if go backwards past the centre, then the stick wont stay where you put it - even at 100% negative..of course at this setting, once I place the stick anywhere past centre in the forwards direction, it snaps fully forwards.

Another thing I notcied on calibration ( but not in normal use) is that when you rotate the stick around the circle at full deflection, there are places where I am feeling a cogging ( forwards) and other places ( around 4 oclock and 8 oclock) where I can feel a notching....any ideas whats going on there?

The first screen shot you show the balance spring at -94% in the forward postion 6% in the positive but your 2nd screen shot your balance spring shows -11.1% and 0%..Your left and right is also changed. On my forward position I'm using 18% (positive number) and rear 5%, 12% on my left and 10% on my right. As for cogging this usually means the calibration ones done properly to full deflection or there is a mechanical issue.

Sadly, I could not find my original openscad project, but I re-measured the original adapeter plate, and the inside diameter was 10mm, so I used 3D builder to fill the oversized hole, then put a 10mm hole with a slight chamfer as per the original plate. this should be much closer.

Some of my planes in IL2 Great Battles the center is forward or the trim is acting very weird if I trim nose down the stick moves forward alot in order to keep plane level. I need to apply constant force down when doing so. But some of my planes do not act like this I'm using the same config profile for all right now. any thoughts? I notice this on the duck the spit and the p39 so far I know it happens on other but those are the ones I've flown recently.
