oh, since you put it that way, i guess as long as I don't try to edit it, there's no computational strain, then, right? I wasn't sure how it works (the problem with this specific one is that i've used the whole landscape to generate on, then masked with proximity to a bunch of curves - so density was up at 5 - so i wanted to get rid of the computational evidence of my ham-handedness :)) now i realize i could've just used a ghost plane to spawn these, then project onto the landscape inside the tool )

It is something we tried to fix before, but it turned out it was really really complex, so had to pause that idea for the time being

the way to do it yourself is through the license manager inside of Dash, but that would have needed to be done before the Windows installation as that impacted the license logic I am afraid
