RHi, we are using Rhino Input Loopback (1.0.17b13) to read an axis from a BU0836 axis (for hardware trim). When the application starts, it doesn't seem to read the input Axis until the dropdown is used to select another axis, then reselect axis 0 again. Then the value is then correctly read. Any ideas? Thanks!
TInertia might be a little high but depends on if it is causing instability. If you have any issue you could try turning that down. To feel effects out of sim, need to turn on effects in the effects tab, you may have done that already but not sure since you hadn’t sent a pic of that tab.

NAgain, at 18:51:420- motor x and y Communication Timeout. After that I switched off and on the power and motors came active , at the same time telem log showed the effects are OK. In the game(dcs) I had no control of the joystik.

PSo I am using someone elses profile as a baseline and have adjusted it for my VKB stick. I notice the loopback tool keeps resettings its input device to be the rhino as the HAT source when I restart it. I think this may explain the issue I am having with trim. How can I make that button/hat source in loopback a permanent change?
PI can see Loopback tool is referencing a "default" profile but I am not sure where that is or how to change it

TIt is not required but adds some effects.

RHey I have a problem. On FW update page https://vpforcecontrols.com/usb/rhino my chrome is seeing rino (controls are working and stuff and I can pick joystick in popup window) but when I click Update Firmware seems joystick is switching to BL mode (controler board start to flash) and no compatible device is shown in popup window. Seems my browser is not able to detect joystick while it is in BT mode. I do not remember: is it required to click something on controler board in order to flash FW? Shoult it be automatic process? Any clue why Chrome does not see joystick while swithing to bootloader mode?
RI will try aswell. Have disconnections like 3 times and hour currently. Is this command reset different from "Reset Motors" button?
RUpdating firmware to B13 now + configurator
RQuick reply with reset command. It did not put the motors back "running" after the shutdown bug. But hitting the emergency stop on and off helped as usual.
CIs there a way to increase spring effect in MSFS? Everything is

MHi Walmis…..I just received another SR I ordered 3 weeks ago for another project and tested it out……works perfectly. Therefore the SR I ordered last Sep and tried it for first time a few days ago confirms it is indeed U/S. I will now send you the online form for warranty replacement……thank you.
BTW the form does not specifically have a warranty section……I had to select a payment and the SR with a remark that it is a warranty replacement…….i hope that will make sense when you receive it???

Sis your Configurator loading settings upon app launch? I need to manually press Load Settings.
BAre you storing the settings after load? Storing will write it to the board.
SI use my rhino with a alpha prime grip. Had no prob. Now suddenly the grip generates spikes. So buttons and ministick generate short inputs without any movement fysically. I can not use it in the apache anymore cause when I use the ministick for aiming it jumps of target randomly. I checked with another alpha prime. Same result. When I connect the warbird grip which has no ministick I see two buttons also light up without fysical movement. When I try the alpha grips on my warbird base I get no problems. So I think the vpforce rhino is broken. I tryed earlier software but I get the input spikes ( don’t know the right word I am not English). I wonder what to do. I would by another grip in an instant but I am afraid it’s the rhino. I have tm tpr rudders converted to ffb on vpforce motor. Works fine. Really puzzled what to do. Left it in shambles today cause tired and late and disappointed. Hope for some help and will get on it after work tomorrow maybe I need to replace some computerboard ar so. Try reinstalling all tomorrow. Quite some work. Thx .

Ri have alpha prime with ministick but dont see this. i do have large deadones though for it.
NThe problem with the rhino ffb communication timeout continues. I reduse the max ups amps to 6.5 , but the problem exist. Maybe have to try another psu, I use now meanwell 350/24
KI would bet that the problem is gone with the Meanwell 350/24. I haven't had any problems since I started using it.
NOr maybe I have to update to previous firmware?

WYeah, I'm investigating this particular issue, there are few instances of communications timeout occurring for a few users, but I've not been able to replicate it in the lab, so it's difficult to debug.

NThank you @walmis . On the other hand the experience with all the ffb effects are outstanding, I can't go back to spring loaded base.....never!
RI've reproduced this issue with Rhino Loopback on my desktop (not the sim), it seems to only happen with some input devices. Note how when the application is first launched it reads 0 for previously selected axis input and needs reselecting in the drop down to read the current value. Notably, this doesn't affect all input devices (reproduced so far with a BU0836 + PS4 controller axis - Winwing axis all work as expected).

Vhello guys so flying the f-5 i find on the pitch its very sensitive and i cannot pu curve as its a known issue but i wanted to ask if maybe there is a way to have more force directly from the middle zone? im pretty new to the configurattor etc
Vi just want it to be more stronger in the middle and then move from there normally

SI do not see b12. Maybe 1.0.17b2 but no 12. Finder doesn’t see it either. And installing b2 does not help anymore. Now I am 57 and no computerwizz. I just believe in this ffb concept. It’s just harder for people like me to sorry.
