469 levis loose shorts
Two reasons: 1: If they have a higher rise than your other shorts, you may not need as large of a waist. Think of it this way: If your shorts sit on your hips, you may need a 34. But if they sit higher at your actual waist, your body will be narrow there, you may only need a 30 or 32. 2: Vanity sizing changes frequently. A tag size of 34 normally means an actual waist of 36, but I've had them measure 38 as well. 3: Levi's are made in third world sweatshops with godawful quality control. Your shorts could just be mislabelled or sewn incorrectly.

And the more I look at that measurement, the more I think it's actually a little over 14.

If the waist is still too big for you're liking, I'd have them tailored. It's normally pretty cheap to do so, especially since they're going to stretch back out the more you wear them.

15 inch rise? I'm so fucking jealous. I just ruined my Indigofera Kain jeans because I'm a moron, debating buying another pair or trying Mister Freedom out.

How long did your wardrobe take to catch fire
I've gotten a few grail items over the past year or so but there's plenty more that I'm chasing.

How long did your wardrobe take to catch fire
Full disclosure: I'm significantly older than most of the posters here. Honest answer: Within the last three years. Before that I spent aloooooot of money basically chasing trends and trying to dress however was in style at the time, not how I wanted to look. Nothing ever fit the way I wanted to, I had expensive shit but didn't enjoy wearing it. I finally said fuck it, I'm just going to dress how I want to and started rebuilding. Realistically, I look much better now since I'm buying clothes that work for my body and my tastes rather than forcing myself into whatever is on trend. And I've gotten to the point where I can be selective, and if something happens to be on trend but it will work with what I wear and I like it, I grab it.

Looking for high rise slim straight jeans, not skinny
I never thought of that, I knew tailors could taper from the knee down, i didn't know they could taper the thigh as well

Looking at the conversion rate it may be slightly above your budget but it's worth a look at the thread for the other shops

There's a thread on Reddit that's a few years old but it had some good recommendations, I checked out one of the Etsy shops that was mentioned and it's still in business and apparently makes shirts very similar to what you're looking for and for a decent price. The woman who runs it seems to be very open to custom work and asks people to send her different designs to try, maybe check it out. Here's the thread https://www.reddit.com/r/findfashion/s/Z8rDJAIRig

I was mainly using Luxire and PC as examples of custom work being more accessible than many people often think. I've seen multiple examples of people sending Luxire special requests for garment designs and having them make them, admittedly a jacket like Prince is wearing may be outside of their capabilities. I was unaware of any issues with Luxire and advertising,I've been using them for a few years now and haven't had any issues, I haven't any negative discussion about their advertising on the Styleforum thread either, but I may have missed it. What have they done? If it's something bad I'd rather know about it so I can send my business elsewhere.

Proper cloth fit advice
Honestly, this is a pretty good fit, if it's your first custom shirt you did a damn good job with the measurements. A few tweaks I'd make: 1: As you said, cuffs should be at least an inch tighter, maybe 1.5. They're sliding a little too far down on your hand. 2: I'd add 1.5-2 inches on the length just to guarantee the shirt stays tucked. 3: This is purely personal preference on how you like the shirt to fit, but I think you have some excess fabric in the waist, you could probably have the waist taken in a little on your next shirt as well. 4: You could probably use some longer collar points as well. The sort of classic/ideal collar point length is one where the tips of the collar are hidden by your jacket when you button it. Again, this is very much a personal preference. I haven't used Propercloth in a while, I frequently use Luxire and I'm a huge fan. They let you tweak a ridiculous number of details, including collar point length and band height. If you're interested, I'd say try having them make a shirt for you and see if you like their style as well. Prices are on par with Propercloth, maybe a touch cheaper and you can really find tune your preferences there.

Regarding the clothes, do you have any skill in sewing or do you know anyone in your city that makes custom garments? It's often cheaper than you think to have custom work done. I use Luxire and Propercloth all the time to have items made for me. I just copy measurements from some of the more expensive pieces that I own and have them duplicate the cut but with different fabrics. Works out great for me, I save money and by tweaking the measurements I get something that fits better than what I would get off the rack.

Just to piggyback on this, Ukraine has a bizarrely large online presence on eBay when it comes to the style of clothes I wear (trad/prep/ivy.) I don't understand why but I've seen multiple items for very reasonable prices but I was always worried it was a scam. I finally ordered a couple of shirts from Ukrainian sellers, turns out they were legit. Great price, items were in fantastic condition and in a size that's hard for me to find, only issue was shipping was slightly slow until the item left the country then it got here quickly. And to be fair, that's completely understandable. I'm not going to bitch about slow shipping when I'm getting vintage menswear from a country that's actively being invaded.

I'm trying to avoid too much baggy fabric in the thighs. I lost some weight, I'm 6'3 and about 170 now. When the jeans are too wide in the thighs they sort of just flap or cave in, I'm trying to stick to something that's not skin tight but maybe a little more sleek
