i think copying is a great way to learn about actual properties of clothes - drape, proportion, harmony, etc - especially as they relate to your body, which may not be as easy to grasp via an article or short video

Leather shoes that need to break in: how do I know if its a bad match and will never fit my foot?
i'd give it a couple weeks, but if the tightness is still present even with wear I'd look into a different shoe (soloviere is the usual alternative recommended)

saved that to my phone and it's been a helpful reminder whenever anxieties about how i relate to people come up. i don't want to suggest that i ignore people's opinions or judgment - i'm only human - but i try to view my choices through the lens of "what do i get out of this?"
