Then use the evidence to make a decision.
Gut instincts are only as useful as the evidence-based training your gut has been through....

During the 30x500 course, we are asked to pick one audience, and apply the course on it, which I did (JavaScript/React developers). I’m happy with the results so far: lot of ebombs already published, lot of ideas for next ones, etc... Plus, I feel I’m having this new super power: Safari.
That being said, I was always a “jake of all trades”. I love doing a bunch of things at the same time, and I kind of feel good about it. Which means I’m part of different audiences and I feel I can serve them all with the knowledge learned at 30x500.

IMO it's always some investor wanting to figure out if the last few startups you worked for had product-market fit and if they should make a copycat, fund a competitor or invest in this specific market.
It all seems pretty fishy to me, but they're happy to pay $400 for one hour of your time. :man-shrugging:...

my challenge is that i haven’t been able to find a willing publisher yet. i’ve contacted a number of tech publishers via their “write for us” link but haven’t gotten any bites. i talked with someone from manning a year or two ago, and at the time they turned me down, and i tried contacting them again recently and they didn’t respond. at this point i feel a little stuck.
