Just started the boo
[2023-06-19 05:35:49 AM] : Just started the bootcamp and probably this question may deserve a "wait till you get there" answer but I'll ask it anyway. I've been consuming the Success Stories and other articles in Stacking the Bricks as part of my prep (can't be consistent this week until company planning week over).
The ebombs alumni created that contributed to their success (some, like Justin Weiss' even helped in the Sales Safari process), how does one get traffic to them? I mean it's one thing to create the "ebomb" (helpful content that you can ship quickly), it's another thing to make sure people get to it so it will help them....

[2023-06-19 02:39:14 AM] : Is it a good idea to deliver a paid video course via series of emails (maybe with a fast forward link)? Want to be minimalistic in the beginning.

[2023-06-18 04:49:32 PM] : Hey folks,
Are there any e-bombs on how to go from full time jobs to doing 30x500 type work full time? I don’t think I can increase my income from 30x500 to equal my current salary doing it a few hours a week. Would be great to see some stories or steps on how others have done this....

[2023-06-18 03:37:13 PM] : Not sure if this is the place to share this, so feel free to tell me if not and I am to delete. Finally started uploading my coffee time video series :slightly_smiling_face: :coffee: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8_kr6gR0_x-sxS3eYfJVcbnjNi0h0BN3

[2023-06-15 12:43:52 AM] : So I’m wondering who is going through Launch FTW now? anyone going to try to follow the 12 week execution calendar?

[2023-06-13 07:53:23 PM] : Quick and very informal poll: do you use Discord for any other communities?
:+1: - yes
:-1: - no
 - what the heck is Discord?...

[2023-06-10 09:29:11 AM] : it sounds like you're talking about validation of an existing thing you want to build, which isn't really the 30x500 approach. the 30x500 approach is to put your problems aside and listen closely for the problems other people have, the way they describe them, and how often they show up as a pattern....and then create things you KNOW people want based on those patterns.
the problem with "scratching your own itch" is that even if other people out there have that problem, it's unreliable whether or not a) you can find others who have that problem b) understand how they describe the problem and c) know whether or not the problem is painful enough to pay for. it's only slightly better than plucking random ideas out of thin air....
Problems that are my
[2023-06-10 03:04:02 AM] : Problems that are my own problem that I come across in my day-to-day lives have a solution in my mind that I would like to build. I think 30x500 approach would be to find more people who are facing this problem, right?
this is very cool <@
[2023-06-03 05:44:09 PM] : this is very cool Samir, thank you for making this model share-able!
So my launch finishe
[2023-06-02 07:00:45 AM] : So my launch finished this week. Unfortunately, because I've done it with someone else, I can't share as much as I'd like about how it went. I got the pricing "wrong" so it wasn't what we expected but still far from a failure thank goodness.
I shared my chart before and, being a data nerd that I am, have turned it into this little spreadsheet - the "Magic Product Launch Sales Expectation Setter..."
If you want to have a play you need to make your own copy of it. The idea though is that you put in your audience size, you put in your product price and it will tell you how many sales you'll make and how much revenue that will be in total....
 I have an ebo
[2023-06-02 05:45:40 AM] :  I have an ebook with some legal advice for people working online in my country. And for maybe the 200th time, I’ve been asked if I offer a consulting call/service. I’ve been responding with “Nope” but each time I was thinking maybe I should just do it.
If anyone has done this before, how did you approach it especially pricing? How can I price it without hurting the ebook sales? Should it be a tier of the offering (for ex ebook is 39$, ebook with videos is 69$, and introduce ebook + videos + coaching call with x$) or a separate offering (coach call for x$, but I’m not sure if this will hurt ebook sales)? (I’m leaning towards the tier offering but wanted to check if anyone has any prior experience to share)...
<@U15SEEVDF> are you
[2023-06-01 01:00:54 PM] : jonh are you planning and nudge emails? I was thinking of that because a few people seem to be getting stuck on my course and wondered if, after say x time, I should send them a "remember me" email!
One thing I'd hoped
[2023-05-30 06:23:07 AM] : One thing I'd hoped to do with my new workshop was find a way to get some insight into how students progress through it, where they get stuck, that sort of thing. I'm using my own course platform which kinda helps with collecting raw data (like events every time someone completes a lesson).
But I didn't want to spend ages building out reports and decided to give MixPanel a go.
The initial results are pretty encouraging. Here's a diagram which shows how students progress through the main project in the workshop. There are hints and tips built-in, but this is the first time they really have to take what they've been learning and apply it....

[2023-05-26 05:36:18 AM] : How does your experience of pricing stack up with mine? I'm trying to put together a kind of audience price sensitivity. This is very imprecise for a number of reasons but I've now got data for free, low (£59), mid (£250) and high tier (£400) pricing for the same topic. Has anyone else done something like this before? (corrected image in thread)

[2023-05-25 06:36:19 PM] : i’m asking myself two questions with the conference this time that i wasn’t thinking about that much last time:
1. how can i use the conference to maximize the number of email and snail mail subscribers i get?
2. how can i use the conference to maximize consulting opportunities? (including perhaps consulting that happens before/during/after the conference)...
