Peak causes my legion go to rumble a few times and then reboot by itself
I tried using the Vulkan shaders first and it then the DX12 shaders which work better but after a hour, it still vibrates then reboots by itself.
I tried updating the BIOS and chipset but no luck....
(Potentially fixed?) Weirdness after update and now black screen on boot
I decided to run the system update today, in desktop mode, let it do its thing for a good while and came back to reboot it. It froze during a splash screen, not sure what point in the process, and I had to manually shut down and reboot.
I was a bit concerned, but it opened up in gaming mode and seemed alright for a bit, then some decky things started going wierd after updating that too, or maybe already were acting up but it showed more after. SteamGridDB disappeared and wouldn't reinstall, IDK what else. Was about to try a reboot when I randomly decided to check system update again, even though it had automatically checked on boot, supposedly. At about that point (as I looked away for a few moments) decky and all it's stuff vanished, and it kept going back to the home screen after a short freeze, like it had crashed something. Tried to get into settings, tried to figure out anything, tried to get to desktop mode, nothing worked and then it just plain froze for good.
After another hard shutdown, it now "boots" to a black screen. That's it. No splash screen, no OS selection, no nothing, I don't even think I can get into the bios! For a few times it had a dash or underscore in the top left, but even that's gone now. And I'm really worried that I've somehow bricked it. 😱...
Solution:
Well, the situation has changed (and I didn't see your message until now, what is wrong with you Discord?!?). No idea why this worked, but after letting it sit for a while as I freaked out, I tried fully unplugging and replugging it. It then booted up normally and seems fine. Back to normal, Decky, SteamGridDB and all. What even? What happened, why is it fixed, and how to I keep it from going crazy again in future? I'm scared to do anymore updating. Or even rebooting.
is there a way to import my steam files from one windows drive directly over to Bazzite?
If so please let me know.

I just installed Bazzite and supposedly ran the command to update drivers, but Bluetooth won’t turn on—even when I try from the terminal. The terminal shows this “error.”
It’s worth noting that my Bluetooth device is a generic external USB adapter, since my motherboard doesn’t have built-in Bluetooth.
Is there any solution to this?...
Issues with display detection on boot in DisplayPort MST transport
So, I have a very weird issue with my setup (NVidia GPU connected to the first monitor in a dual monitor setup using DisplayPort MST / Daisychaining):
During boot, both monitors just show the bios logo, plus later on the loading indicator and bazzite logo. After this, only the second monitor in the chain is detected and active (showing the login screen), with a similar behaviour when switching to another tty (only that screen is used).
When I then switch the port I use on the GPU, both monitors are detected and used without issue, with a non-graphical tty showing up on both screens, as expected. If I switch back to the first port, the issue occurs again. And it really is always the port connected to during boot, not a specific port on the GPU.
So, while I technically have a workaround, replugging the DP cable feels a bit off, and I need some help. I am generally comfortable in the terminal etc, just not used to the whole stack of things involved here (compositor etc), so I would really appreciate some pointers on how to troubleshoot this, or a solution, if anyone has seen something like this before....
Need help with remapping buttons
So i bought onexfly f1 pro, as my fist non steamdeck handheld and installed bazzite and i can't understand how to rebind every extra button. By default home button acts as steam button but non of hotkeys (like steam+X bring keyboard) work, m2 button is also steam button but all hotkeys work with it, what m1 button do i dont know and through steam rebinding doesn't work, I tried all controller emulation modes in hhd and choose extra buttons as steam input.
Screen frozen...help pls!!
Guys, i had an issue on bazzite 10 minutes ago (i had the same issue also with other linux distro, apart from mint) my screen got stuck, i was not able to move my mouse or open any windows at all, so i had to reboot my pc.... everything was like frozen
i was only able to see the screen on, but frozen...

Audio force Alsa - Kodi
Kodi flatpak needs alsa for pass thru audio to work. This is typically accomplished by passing the
KODI_AE_SINK=ALSA variable, or disabling access to pulse in flatseal.
Neither of these seem to work on my HTPC deck image.
Is there another way to force an app to use alsa exclusively perhaps?...Solution:
1. Disable Kodi's access to pulse audio backend, I did this in flatseal, but you could do it in the launch command.
2. Configure pipewire to allow pass-thru protocols, this can be done by creating a wireplumber config as described here: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=374663&pid=3192930#pid3192930
3. Launch kodi with the
--audio-backend=alsa switch
I had issues with launching from steam in game mode this way, steam wouldn't have audio when I exited the Kodi app. As a solution I created a simple bash scirpt to monitor Kodi's PID, and restart pipewire, wireplumber and steam when Kodi is closed. So like does it have conda, gfortran, latex, etc, what does it have so that I don't accidentally install it when it is already installed

for the most part, its just docker + vscode
it also include smaller stuff like adb and zsh, its also based on -deck image so you get gaming mode but boot to desktop by default...

Hello! Searching for some help here, I installed some official Cursors like "Sweet Cursors", and they work propertly on desktop, Dolphin and some other apps, but on some others like Brave or Discord, they turn a "default" cursor, someone knows why?

hi all, i am here just to ask if it is possibile to install a fresh bazzite using two disks like this:
Disk 1 120 Gb

Solution:
In this situation, I'd use the 120gb disk for the install and use the 1tb one to install games to and store media in. 120gb is enough for bazzite + flatpaks. If you don' have any other os on the system, you can use the auto partitioning and only choose the 120gb.

Yeah, it's fine. The check media is broken, go to the installer. 8gb system memory is low. Which gpu do you have?
Logitech Options+ on Bazzite for mouse gestures, or alternative app
I got Solar which is a good manager, but it lacks some Options+ features I've grown used to - namely mouse gestures and macros.
Any chance I could install it on Bazzite and make its background services work?
Alternatives are welcome, as long as they allow me to set individual gestures/commands/macros per app...

I want to be able to force certain settings on programs/games like you can in Nvidia control panel on windows.
this really troubles me when i want to limit the background fps for idler and automation games that dont natively support it so i dont have to listen to my fans ripping at 100% while keeping my video settings the same.
but i cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it on bazzite...
