Unable to Update RatOS, or Anything Related To RatOS

I've been printing and updating for about 2 years. My Windows PC is connected to the Internet (obviously, since I'm on Discord right now). The same Windows PC is also connected to a Raspberry Pi 3B+ via Ethernet cable. My RatRig V-Core 3 500mm is printing right now. For some reason I don't understand, I can no longer update RatOS, or anything related to RatOS. I think it has something to do with WiFi. Since I have good connections from Internet to PC, and PC to Pi, is there some way I can upd...

No Belt Tension Graphs

Today I updated RatOS, and since then I no longer get belt tension graphs. In the console, an error message appears: SUDO_USER: unbound variable. The shaper graphs still work. Does anyone have an idea?

Just completed a and yeah I read the warning. However I now see this error "allow_unknown_gcode_generator" and on refreshing the Update Manager I now see that the "RatOS Configuration repository" is invalid I'm assuming this isn't supposed to happed and what steps do I need to take to fix this?...

Latest update rendered Vcore 4 nonfunctional

I had updated everything last night as I was working through some print quality issues with T1. The fan on T0 stayed at full 100% despite my test printing with T1. It would not respond to Mainsail at all. So this morning I updated all components again and I get this error. I can't find the RatOS section containing this variable. Any thoughts on fixing this situation?

Solution:

Mine is working again. Try shut down your printer, get him off and restart after a few seconds. Then reload the updater and then should be a klipper update there. After this all seems to be fine.

How to connect a second controller fan on Octopus Pro?

I want to connect a second two wire 12 Volt controller fan. I could just parallel it off the existing contoller fan but as I have fan0 and Fan3 ports free it seems more convenient to use one of these fan ports. Where do I make the change in RatOS to enable fan3 port to work in parallel with fan2?...

Solution:

Should be as simple as adding to your printer.cfg something like

[controller_fan my_controller_fan]
pin:  <name of pin>

[controller_fan my_controller_fan]
pin:  <name of pin>

Just switched my V-Core 3 to hybrid mode.

I am using the V-Core 4 (300) Rat OS configuration. I am now getting stepper driver warnings that I didn't get when I was in non hybrid mode. I'm a bit surprised. I am getting the warnings on all Z motors the X motors and the Y motors....

Hello. I built a V-Minion clone and installed RatOS 2.0... If I now do a resonance test for X or Y, the corresponding axis moves back and forth by around 50mm during the test. In addition, the engine hums. Like before in RasOS. However, my axles have never moved back and forth so visibly. Is that correct?

Beacon contact on start of print

Hey. A soon as I start print after successfully homing and when the nozzle comes to the front of the bed to probe it pulls the bed down. Does not trigger. Beacon moves out of the bed and I set the offset I think

Couldn't start VAOC: ... GetStatusWrapper object' has no attribute 'z_offset_probe'

While setting up a new idex V-Core 4, I tried to use the VAOC to recalibrate toolhead offsets. Even after homing and z-tilting, the VAOC screen whines about "z_offset_probe" not being in GetStatusWrapper's attributes. Did I miss a step somewhere during commissioning? Can/should I manually set z_offset_probe in one of the .cfg files? My cfgs/klippy log are attached. I appreciate your help!...

Unsure why the print is pausing, and unable to resume

I'm having trouble printing a file on a vcore 3.1 running an updated ratos 2.1. The print starts fine but a few minutes in it stops. It says it's paused but the toolhead stays in position and I'm unable to resume. The file is relatively large (300mb) and sometimes has a problem starting from the LCD without throwing a timer error. When it starts, I get this error showing up in the log. Hopefully this is the relevant section: ```virtual_sdcard read Traceback (most recent call last):...
