gta v install starts then stops

Solution:

Copied the files to a separate folder, uninstalled heroic flatpak version, and installed deb version instead. then imported the game through the import game option, then installed the rest of it. that's how i got it working

Cannot login in Genshin Impact

I'm not sure if something has happened with the anticheat or if there was an update that broke something, but... I launched Genshin Impact a few hours ago and I was met with the login screen (usually auto-logged in), and when I enter my email/password, it times out, saying something like "connection failed" Not really sure what to add.... please ask for more information if it could help fix this issue....

kenshi doesnt launch on arch

hi, im using flatpak version of heroic and when i launch kenshi nothing happens, i have installed all dependencies that was included in installer. tried tweaking some stuff in wineconfig but nothing helps. Other games that i have work without any troubles

mage arena cant download (macOS)

Can’t play Civilization VI, but why?….

Hello everybody! I’m currently experiencing an issue with Civilization VI (purchased during a free giveaway from the Epic Games Store). I installed the game through Heroic on my Mac using Wine - Whisky 2.5.0 as the Wine runner. The game installs and launches successfully — the intro video plays, and the main menu appears with the game’s title and a “Continue” button. However, after that point, I’m stuck — clicking the “Continue” button does nothing. The cursor moves, but it’s as if the button is just a static image or non-functional UI element. Alan Wake 2 fails to launch

Fresh install of Heroic on Flatpak, fresh install of the game, fresh wineprefix on GE-Proton-latest with d3dcompiler_43, d3dcompiler_47, vcrun2022 and corefonts. The game tries to open, gives a warning about being installed on an HDD (even though it's actually on an SSD, but from looking at other posts here that seems to be normal) and then crashes - seemingly from an X11 protocol error. Log: https://0x0.st/87NT.log When using a fresh prefix with the same packages on GE-Proton8-32, the games launches far enough to get to the stage where it opens the Epic Overlay to verify its license, but the Epic Overlay crashes, seemingly because CEF can't find an OpenGL implementation to initialize a renderer with. Log: https://0x0.st/87NQ.log I can launch and get into the game on GE-Proton8-32 without using the Epic Overlay, but the overlay is required for the game to unlock DLC content so not really an option...

Keep getting same error when I open a game about reading "loginfo"

I asked ChatGPT about the issue, and it says it might have to do with how since this is Windows, it doesn't recognize that in the config file because it's expecting some version of proton. To clarify, games still install and open just fine, but I get that error everytime I open a game from the launcher or any shortcut created by the launcher. I just wanted to pay Epic games on Steam Link 😭

I updated the heroic launcher to the latest version and now my controller doesn't work in the Alters. I can use the controller on the launcher but the game it doesn't work in the game. And if I remove and plug back the controller I can only move once then it doesn't detect it. Please help.I am using Pop Os 22.04

Ninja Gaiden Ragebound (GOG) not starting on Steam Deck

I installed Ninja Gaiden Ragebound via Herectic Launcher, it runs on desktop mode if i start the game via herectic , but it wont start in gaming mode or via steam on desktop mode. tried several proton version but didnt work out . any idea to fix this ? thx.
