Genshin Impact launcher failing to start game after ingame update

I opened genshin after long time, and it loaded fine but needed ingame update, worked fine, played for 2 hours without any issue. but next time I am getting error "Genshin impact Encountered Serious problem" when trying to launch game from hoyo launcher launched from heroic other game like ZZZ works fine....

Stellaris for Mac will not start on Mac...

Hello, I own Stellaris on Gog and I play on Mac. Installed the Mac version through Heroic, but the game will not start. To be fair, the Gog launcher will not start it either. I can manually start Stellaris so I am looking for a way to point Heroic to the app file....

Epic cloud saves via Heroic Launcher

Apologize in advance since this topic is all over here but I've tried for a few hours and can't get anything to work. I'm trying to get any of my epic games on my steam deck to sync with the cloud but more specifically have been testing it with THPS 1+2 but to no avail. I have a save on my PC, and a separate one on steam deck that I started and played for a bit before I decided to try and get the further save to sync via the Cloud. I know the cloud is working on the PC end and I found some save files but they seem to be the local save, I don't know how to get it connected with the cloud . Sorry if this isn't enough information, let me know what logs or something I should share to help. Ive been at it a while and am going to bed now....

Epic Account Log in issue

Trying to log into my epic games account and after going through the full login flow (username, password, captcha, 2fa code) I get a “Logging in” spinner. After a while the window closes and I’m back at the heroic log in screen…still not logged into Epic. Now whenever I press “epic games login” I get the same logging in spinner, nothing happens...

(amdgpu) When running with native Wayland, Heroic launches minimized to tray.

For some reason if I run heroic with native wayland on my pc with an amdgpu, the heroic window doesn't show up and I have to go to my tray to unhide it. When running with heroic --ozone-platform=x11 its works fine however....

borderlands 2 not launching

So i am trying to play borderlands 2 on Linux using heroic and wine-ge , but when i first enter the game i get "the wine configuration in <dir> is being updated, please wait" and stays like this forever . Any tips ?

Bloodstained : Ritual of the Night won't launch in Gaming Mode (Steam Deck)

Hello, I downloaded Bloodstained : Ritual of the Night using the Heroic Game Launcher, but, in gaming mode, the game doesn't seem to even boot. Steam loads for a few seconds, like with any other game but then kicks me back to the game entry on Steam. Now, when launching in Desktop Mode using the game's page on Heroic Launcher (with the "Use Steam Runtime" option checked), the game launches fine. Except my Steam Deck buttons are considered keyboard keys and the controls lock up every few seconds....

Sid Meier's Pirates! (2005) incomplete download

I am currently having a problem downloading the game. Some files seem to be missing after the download. For example, the .exe file to run the game is also missing. Cyberpunk 2077 won't launch after updates

I was able to play the game with no notable issues on 2025-02-18. I did not try launching it again until shortly before this post. When I attempted to launch the game, Heroic notified me that there was a pending game update; I allowed it to run and install it. Upon clicking the green Play Now button, after a few seconds a small window opens and immediately closes, and the Play Now button shows up again. I've already ensured that my flatpak is up to date using the command listed in the FAQ. I also previously tried launching the game under Wine-GE-Proton8-26 and GE-Proton9-22, with no noticeable difference.
