Rocket League not launching

Updated to latest version of rocket League and now no longer launches from gaming mode or desktop mode

Solution:

try running flatpak update on a terminal, looks like the latest steamos update broke things for a lot of people

Most games not working after SteamOS 10/2 update

I'm not sure if this is a Heroic issue, a proton issue, or SteamOS issue, but I wanted to present it here. I tried to run some of the games I have from either Epic, Amazon or GOG and it either crashes with no notification or will get different notifications. I tried Golf With Your Friends and it doesn't start up where prior to the update it did. I got a "fatal error" notification for Ender Lilies from Epic. I got a more specific "A DED11- Compatible GPU (feature level 11.0, shader model 5.0) is required to run the engine. " trying to run Afterimage. All games are using GE Proton latest, and all worked prior to the Steam OS update. Please let me know if I'm in the right area for those errors. Thank you....

Bought 2 DLC's through Epic on Heroic and cant find them.

I bought 2 DLC's for Lord of thr Rings Return to Moria through the Epic store in Heroic, and when I try to install them Heroic/Epic says it cant find them. Some help would be great.

Guild Wars (1) – game downloads file then exits

I just got Heroic to see if I can run Guild Wars (1). I ran the installer, apparently successfully, then had to manually set the game executable, but when I run that, it downloads a file then exits. Log file attached. Has anybody gotten Guild Wars to run on macos Sequoia? Happy to provide additional information as needed....

Everytime i click play it just doesnt pop up. Everytime i click play it says launching for a split second then says play again.

Running Slime Rancher 2 On Mac Through Steam.

in the past I've run Slime rancher 2 through whisky with no issues, then they released the official launch of the game and it stopped working. Tried running through heroic, and it didnt work either. Am curios if anyone else had issues or better, a success with installing this particular game. I understand this could do with the whole Outdated steam version ordeal and yet I still ask for your support....

Windows steam on mac using heroic version.

Updates aand downloads keep failing saying, corrupt donload/ content servers unavailable, some games have downloaded fine, others wont at all with network speed in kbps and disk at 0bps. for example im currently downloading steamworks common redistributables and it says estimated time >1 year. is this a commoin issue or more related to the way im running it through heroic?...

was fine last night idk what happened now this problem is only there on asia server for some reason and america server seems to run without any issue has anyone figured out anything yet? don't say anime game launcher as ill have to download the whole 100gbs over again which i could do but i really dont want to as i have a 30mbps internet connection and it takes a whole day ususally...

Free Desk error

Hi, Heroic Games isn’t launching Rocket League. I think it has something to do with the Free Desk end of life issue. In desktop mode of my Steam deck it won’t let me update anything because it saws that the FreeDesk app or whatever can’t be removed. Any tips?

Watch Dogs fail to launch

Every time I try and launch watch dogs it goes back to the Ubisoft launcher and the game doesn’t launch. Tried using different proton versions and reinstalled the game, nothing worked.

cannot import some (but not all) of my gog catalogue

Hello, i am running into the following issue: out of the 5 games i wish to import from my gog catalogue (they are all already present on the computer , and all 5 games are in the same folder), there are 3 of them (mother russia bleeds, wh40K fire warrior and populous the beginning) which i can't manually import on heroic (when doing it, selecting the right folder where game is located, selecting the game's own folder, selecting that one to be the one where the app will pick the game from, i first get the notification confirming the game has been properly imported and all, but then looking back at the app, it still refuse to launch the game and tell me the game isn't anywhere to be found, despite that from both my file manager, and from mini-galaxy i can see the game being here and launchable. ). worth noting that i added extra permissions to heroic launcher trough Flatseal in order to give it explicit permission to access the folder where my gog catalogue is, but it didn't solve the problem. i would like to know if there is a method i can apply to solve the issue? (btw, i am on linux mint 22.2) thanks in advance for your future responses...
