Battle Brothers wont launch

I tried to install and launch the game, but it will not start. No Blackscreen or window even appears when pressing play, it stays on "playing" for a few seconds and then closes. So far I have tried: - changing Wine Version to an older one (GE-Proton9-27) - disabling UMU Nothing helped....

Solution:

I did some trial and error and unticking / disabling "Auto Install/Update DXVK-NVAPI on Prefix" did the job for me. Battle Brothers Settings -> Wine -> untick ""Auto Install/Update DXVK-NVAPI on Prefix"...

Question about Fortnite installation options using Heroic

(Pasting my issue from a post I made on Reddit about it). I looked through previous threads and couldn't find anything on this, so sorry if I missed it! Long story short, but I just started using Heroic for Fortnite instead of Epic. Everything is running smoothly, except I noticed that my skins are not loading correctly. Every skin I choose for myself is missing significant detail. I figured that after installing the game with Heroic, my streamed assets were not pre-downloaded. In the Epic Games Launcher, there is an option (seen in the picture I have provided.. not my picture btw) to enable the Pre-Download Streamed Assets option. In Heroic, there is no option for that. How can I enable this option without using Epic?...

GENSHIN IMPACT Installed but only launches me to the page where you install/launch.

I have all the necessary files downloaded. I press launch on the heroic app it launches the genshin launcher. I have the button to launch it from there but once I press it, the game closes.

Mangohud Troubles

Recently updated Heroic and now I get this error when trying to run games.

Mangohud is enabled, but `mangohud` executable could not be found on $PATH. Make sure to install Mangohud's flatpak package with runtime undefined and restart Heroic.

Solution:

The 2.18 Heroic update reverted to the 23.08 runtimes so you probably need to make sure that MangoHud is installed there too

WINEDLLOVERRIDE not working with opengl32.dll

For some reason, I cannot get ReShade to work with OpenGL games on Heroic. I've tried several OpenGL games. Doom 3 on Steam DOES load opengl32.dll, with the same WINEDLLOVERRIDES="opengl32=n,b" variable. Since Steam and Heroic may use different Proton versions, I set both to Proton-Experimental and yet Steam loads OpenGL while Heroic does not. ...

fnaf 2 crashing problem

whenever i open fnaf 2 with a game porting toolkit as my wine version, it just crashes as soon as it opens, however, whenever i open the game with wine or whisky's wine versions they work but really choppy, any way to play fnaf 2 with a game porting toolkit as my crossover? slow download speed

i have 300mbps internet connection, but the games from epic they download at a maximum speed of 10MB/s, which is about 1/4 of the speed of my internet. it doesn’t matter if i use an ethernet cable or Wi-Fi, the result is still the same. i have the latest version of Heroic Launcher and i’m using a MacBook Air M4.

Changing Heroic Versions

Basically I have arch installed using kde plasma and I have the flatpack version installed and I want to change to the pacman one because with the flatpack version It dosn't show up in my sidebar and I need to manually fix it so how can I change to the pacman version? and will I lose any data? Wuthering Waves showing a clear screen on the launcher.

New to linux but I know some of the basics like a majority of games that have an anti cheat are a no go, but I find it odd that when opening Wuthering Waves via the epic store on Heroic the launcher just shows up as this...see through screen? At least Infinity Nikki let me see the launcher before telling me the anti cheat said no.

why cant i download steamworks common redistubles? (Steam)

Steamworks common redistubles is a need for persona 3 reload (i can download persona 3 reload without steamworks but if i download steamworks my other games get corrupted too), and apparently i cant download it because either the "content servers are unreachable" or "corrupt download" why is that? Trying to launch cyberpunk, logs says the pfx is missing and it is. I downloaded cyberpunk before I switched to pop, would I have to get the pfx from the windows partition?
