JoinBreath of Fire IV controller rumble not working
So I have gotten the game running using both Heroic and Lutris but I'm not able to get the rumble working for gamepads in either. I have overriden both
ddraw.dll and dinput.dll (tried dinput8.dll too, just in case) but there's no vibration on the gamepads. I've tried it with both a Dual Sense and an 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless gamepad. Anyone else had any luck with getting it to work or is it just broken on Linux for now? Running it with GE-Proton-latest on Heroic.
I've also noticed F9 to exit only works if the gamepad is disconnected....Rocket League not launching, says launching but stops after a few seconds
Restarted the app but didn't work. I also tried with two different versions of GamePortingKit. No idea why this is happening. I will try with another game and see if the same issue arises

Games close immediately after launching
So I have been experiencing this issue since I started using it on Linux. After a while, games that were working perfectly fine stop launching. They'll start, for a brief second a window will appear opening, and they will immediately quit again. In the logs I can't figure out anything that could be causing it.
Key is that I know it to be Heroic, because I am able to launch the games using WINE when going to the folder. Previously, randomly installing and re-installing proton has fixed it, but only for a while. It would be great if someone could help me with this issue. Incidentally, some games aren't affected at all....
Mudrunner opens to tutorial and than suddenly closes
Once i open the game, it asks me to accept EULA to play and than says welcome to mudrunner. Once i click ok on the tutorial the game crashes.
Breath of Fire 4 Buggy on Linux
So far it runs but anime intro doesn't work and sometimes the controls don't work ether... Anyone got this game working on their Steam Decks yet or Linux in general?
My laptop is suck on a black screen
So I posted a little bit ago about a problem with loading a fan game and I was told to download a new driver so I did and I followed there instructions and now I’m stuck on this black screen when I try to boot control alt f3 won’t work so I can’t access the console so after a bit i tried plugging in my flash drive to reinstall my operating system but it wouldn’t launch as well I think the new driver has broken my computer and I don’t know what to do anymore
Frostpunk GOG does not work
Frostpunk installed from GOG does not work at all, however it works on the same system when installed from EGS (Heroic EGS)...
I want to play it from GOG since I have all the DLCs there and achievements.
I have my doubts why it does not work... and it's probably Nvidia. Any help would be welcome....

Hi there I have been using heroic for some time but I brought breath of fire form gog but when I boot the game it say play then close I have the ge proton 9.27 running to anyone have a solution
Automatic dxvk/dxvk-nvaapi updates
Does heroic automatically updates dxvk/dxvk-nvaapi or do I need to do something like what I do for updating Wine/Proton or it doesn't support that at all? A quick check to my
current_dxvk says dxvk-2.5.3 but upstream release is 2.6.1, if the latter, would be good to have some auto-update mechanism for it

I've already used this fix. Followed every step, I have the .bat downloaded put in the right place. I have the fix.bat set as the alternative exe. It launches to the rockstar launcher and fails to initalize battleye service...

i'm trying to run the windows version of it, and i'm being met with several stutters

Rocket League Doesn’t register controller input in gaming mode
So uh, sorry for three tickets in a day but it is just my luck. So uh basically the title. On desktop mode it registers my input, even when launching from steam. But on gaming mode, it doesn’t. Also breaks steamui elements.

Space Marine 2 Refuses to download #4338
The launcher says the game is downloading for a few seconds, then it just says that the installation is complete, but no files are downloaded nor installed. The bug could affect other games, but i haven't been able to reproduce this on any other game, so i don't know how common this is

Rocket League external(or maybe internal) window/web browser links don’t open
So I booted up Rocket League recently just to see that it got an update to its voice chat feature and it now requires parental control/confirmation to activate. In PlayStation a window pops up automatically when you start the game for the first time for you to confirm that you allow the use of voice chat. Here, it doesn’t and I don’t know where to look. I go to setting and vc option are greyed out and when I click the button below the options (I think it was vc policies or smth) nothing happens...

Heroic failing to update game and game won't launch
After clicking the "Click to update" text, I get Update Started and Update Finished prompts, and then the "Click to update" text returns.
The game also won't launch and I am wondering if this is the reason.
"Force Update if available" and "Verify and Repair" don't seem to have any effect....
