Sifu Freezes in the Death Screen

Mainly what's in the title. It specificly freezes in the screen I added (screenshot not from me, but from a image I found online). Game freezes dead btw, I have to kill it whenever it freezes. I noticed that it says

Adding to Steam -- DeadByDaylight Error 80005 -- Does not connect to online services

Hello all. I've been trying to troubleshoot adding DeadByDaylight from the Heroic Games Launcher to Steam with no solution. I am able to launch the game through Steam to the start menu but am met with Error 80005 as soon as the game loads, so I can't get past that. The game launches fine through Heroic. Couple of things that may help: I'm running Ubuntu 24.04.2 on a Lenovo laptop, with Proton 9.04. I downloaded the HeroicGamesLauncher through flatpak and Steam through the pre-installed App Center on Ubuntu, so I had to alter the default Steam path, and on Steam I altered the launch settings to -dx11 and forced compatibility to Proton 9.04. I also had to change the Start to the DeadByDaylight folder and the target to the DeadByDaylight.exe file inside that folder. Besides that, everything else is running on whatever default settings come with the installation. The end goal is to get my Playstation 5 controller to work on the game. The controller does not work on DBD when I launch it through Heroic, but DOES work when I launch it through Steam, hence why I am trying to add the game to Steam so I can enable Steam input. If for some reason it's not possible to launch the game through Steam, anything advice that can make the controller work through Heroic would be appreciated....

fall guys EOS overlay not opening

On proton-GE-latest, heroic 2.17.2, fresh prefix, eos overlay enabled, i have checked for updates to the overlay and there arent any. the game launches and works fine, and i receive game invites from friends trying to invite me, but hitting v does nothing, pressing the friends list button does nothing. and shift+f3 does nothing...

Rocket League low fps after linux update

I recently upgraded my Zorin OS operating system. And after the update, I noticed that... the game no longer had to exceed 60 FPS. I don't know, maybe the update broke something in Heroic Launcher.

Solution:

Make sure you have the Flatpak counterpart of your Nvidia drivers installed. Run flatpak update to auto-install them, then restart Heroic

death stranding not launching

Hello!! I am new to heroic so i dont know much about it. I just downloaded it to play death stranding on my mac and when i installed it and tried to run it, it showed playing and then nothing popped up (game did not start) and then it went back to play now. Can someone help me start the game pls? I was not using crossover to run the game.

Any way to get achievements pop-up on Steam Deck?

I know EOS overlay exists, but that does not come with pop-up or means to track achievements AFAIK (in Game Mode).

Solution:

eos does do pop ups in game, it's quite annoying but it only does them in epic games. if you're talking about gog games then comet is reporting them but doesn't do pop ups yet...

Can't receive achievements on GOG

I Do not receive achievements on GOG. Playtime does get updated and 'Comet support' has a check mark. Heroic Launcher version 2.17.2. Running on Bazzite....

The game partially loads and then appears to the click any button menu when any button is pressed via keyboard, mouse or controller the game will semi load in and then freeze and crash and i did verify the files, force update, and installed the newest proton-ge version

Rocket League issues in gaming

Can't play, after the first screen it crashes... two weeks ago was normal, I don't know what I did (if i did). I was running heroic in flatpak and I had the same error, now I got the dnf version and the same results. I've tried Proton GE latest, Hotfix and experimental. I disabled gamemode and actived and nothing changed, same with steam runtime or anticheat....

Issues with DLSS on Until Dawn on DX12

I recently tried adding Until Dawn to the heroic launcher. Whenever I enable DXVK-NVAPI (to enable dlss and related features) the game gets super laggy. This issue doesn't happen though when added to steam as a non steam game. I'm using GE Proton 10-9 on both the heroic launcher and steam and I have the umu launcher installed. Any idea what could be the cause of this discrepancy? Am I not supposed to use DXVK-NVAPI on DX12 and use something else instead? The game works fine when passing the "-dx11" game argument, but then obviously ray tracing isn't possible. The game also works if I don't enable DXVK-NVAPI install, but then theres no DLSS. Any help would be greatly appreciated!...

Sims 4 not running

Cyberpunk update stuck in 100%, processing files - solved restarting the client

Basically what the title says. It isn't the first time that this happen, once the download reaches 100%, it's stuck there no matter how many hours you leave it open but gets fixed restarting the client (the update finish correctly in like 5 seconds). I'm trying to understand why this happens, why it gets fixed restarting heroic and if it's "safe" for game integrity.
