JoinUse save states from Windows.
Hi I recently installed heroic launcher, added some games that I have on my windows setup and they work fine but I can't use my save states. When I go to game settings I can't see the cloud game sync tab so I can't set the proper path to use. How can I solve this? Do I need to install the games from the store again to be able to sync the states?

Call of the Wild: The Angler crashing after few seconds of being ingame
I have tried wine and multiple versions of proton and the game keeps crashing after a few seconds of being ingame. There is also a white pixelated bar at the bottom of the screen whenever im ingame that doesnt show when im just in the menus. Any idea what I could try to solve this?

Game folder appears to be deleted
Hey so I got Satisfactory working on Linux. I then replaced the SavedGames folder in it with the one that actually had my SavedGames from my other computer. Now whenever I launch the game. I get a popup that says "Game folder appears to be deleted, do you want to delete it." I never deleted the folder tho??

libFLAC.so.8 missing (Star Trek 25th Anniversary)
When launching I get an immediate CTD.
Log indicates that "error while loading shared libraries: libFLAC.so.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory".
I have this same error with the Interplay sequel to this title as well. This seems to be a common issue among older titles (20+ years old), and I suspect it is due to hardcoded calls to specific DOS level protected mode codecs, whose names have been depreciated in more recent builds of the library....
Controller not working in some games but in others do?
hi, I think I have a fix if you have a game that won't detect your xbox controller knowing that your controller is fine and works with other games. the reason of why this is happening is because the game can't locate the xinput dll, this dll is responsible for detecting and translating your controller's signal, some games rely on finding it in the system32 folder on windows but if you are using linux for some reason the file winecfg don't have these dlls in the library section (just follow the video below to fix it, don't forget to press "add" for new libraries when you select them) also add that xinput9_1_0 I think that is related to games that use directX9. you might ask why some games work fine without this step? I think that those games have these dlls within the game files, this happens with many games when the game for some reason can't reach the system32 folder in windows it crashes but when you add these dlls into the game's folder it works fine.

steam overlay not working with games from the heroic game launcher
This could apply to all 3rd party games, but the only one I have are on gog; which has to launch through heroic.
Anyways the games will launch fine, but I can't use the steam overlay with them. Which is an issue for me, as I want to use my gamepad for old titles that generally have no controller support.
To be specific games like the wingcommander series. The controlls work just fine on my steam deck with the overlay. With out the voerlay on my desktop, I can't get my gamepad to work with these said games....

Heroic Stopped Launching Games
Hi, I'm pretty useless with Linux, but manged to install Heroic on my steamdeck & it's been working fine for a few months. I tried installing Alan Wake 2 & it was stuck on 0%. Then I managed to install Amnesia but it wouldn't launch. The button goes to orange & back to green. I then tried Midnight Suns & Dead Island 2, which I'd been playing fine, but they wouldn't launch either. I have now installed multiple games from Epic & GOG & none will launch.
I've tried logging out of Epic & back in, uninstalling Heroic & then reinstalling it, updating all of the flatpaks & the GE Proton version & everything suggested in the post here. I'm not sure which logs you'd need, but any help I can get would be massively appreciated....

Cyberpunk 2077 freezes at random, i cant really tell how much time have to pass. Sometimes it feels more and sometimes its like 2 minutes. I attached the log from Heroic launcher.
