Hi! I did read the frequently asked questions section about how some Steam games fail to install on Heroic. I am sorry if this question is repetitive, but can someone just clarify if this situation I am facing falls under this category of problem? I had spent a lot of time and am not sure what the actual problem is.
So I have been trying to install Star Wars Battlefront 2, a game I own on Steam, through the Heroic Steam option. I have a MacBook with Silicon M1 chip. It had been stuck on 99% and then the download shows corrupted. I have tried clearing cache, as well as rebooting and reinstalling, but the same problem occurs. Is this a heroic problem or is it fixable?
If it is a problem about Steam's outdated version and incompatibility, does anyone know if there is any other free option to run the Steam game on MacOS aside from Crossover?...
Stats Overlay won't Disappear on Games
Hello, I have Cyberpunk 2077 installed (the macOS version) on Heroic but I have the Stats Overlay showing up in game and there is no option to display it anywhere (unlike the Windows version I had before - see image attached). Is there a way I can toggle off the Stats overlay on my game? Even if manually I have to enter a new env variable (which one should I put?) I tried DXVK_HUD=0 but that didn't work. Thank you!

this didn't work but i tried MTL_HUD_ENABLED=0 and it worked, thank you!! 🙂
Downloading GOG Games on Mac
Since I installed Heroic Games Launcher on my Mac, I honestly only keep running into issues. Downloads either don’t start at all or they stop and freeze after about 3 seconds. The installation of the two games I currently have was really tedious, with lots of long waiting, starting/pausing downloads, and so on. I’ve already done some research, but nothing has helped so far. Does anyone have an idea what the problem could be?
