GTA 5 linux can't run

So today I wanted to install GTA 5 (I have the game through Epic). I installed it and when I tried to run it the rockstar launcher starts, but eventually errors saying that it can't find steam and that the steam client must be running (strange, since this is not even a steam game). After trying some stuff I eventually got the launcher running by switching to wine-ge in place of proton. However, now the launcher opens up, but it does not allow me to run the game, and only shows a button to buy the game. Any idea how to fix this? I have attached the heroic last play log file in case someone finds it useful....

homm 3 won't launch

It worked ok before (maybe 2 weeks ago). Now after clicking play it thinks for a bit and does nothing (play button disables at first and enables again in a bit).

When trying to download genshin, it says I only have 30gb.

I assume this is a virtual disk set up via heroic that doesn't allocate too much space. I do however need to expand it.

I got the fix to the problems I have once experienced in my previous posts

If you encountered this problem First of all uninstall Heroic 2nd you need to run a command that is given for Mac Silicon (when you reach download page you will see it) after installing the Heroic launcher ...

Steam environment variable no longer set in pre-start/post-stop script, especially `SteamStreaming`

I used the environment variable set by Steam, when a game is started via Steam Link, to reconfigure the game by patching the config file. Since some days this stopped working, even explicitely setting the environment variable in Steam commandline doesn't help. Any ideas?...

marvel rivals is not working

Steps I've taken so far: Ensured that Steam is running. Tried using Proton 8.0, proton 9.0, proton 7.0, proton hotfix, proton experimental etc... ; no change. Checked environment variables and Proton logs, but no significant insights. Disabled GameMode and esync, which didn’t solve the issue....

Rocket league won't open

I tried opening rocket league. But, after several attempts, it kept crashing. I restarted my computer, and also redownloaded the launcher, but to to no avail, it kept crashing😭

Help with GOG

I'm on Steam Deck and claimed some games through Amazon Prime on GOG, previously this has worked but now my new GOG games won't show u. This problem does not happen with Epic however.

Grim Dawn won't launch

Description Grim Dawn, installed via GOG within the Heroic Games Launcher, seems to start (the process can be seen on top), but the screen never actually opens. Launcher Does Not Appear

When I boot up Heroic, the system tray icon appears and the icon appears in my task manager panel, however the window never shows up, even if I click on the task or the system tray icon. I'm using the flatpak version and I've tried reinstalling a couple times. I'm not sure where to find the logs without being able to open the launcher so if someone could provide the dir I can grab them. Using Nobara 40 with KDE Plasma...
