Redistributable issues

How does one behave when a mofo app doesn't start because it claims a redist ain't there even if it's actually in there? (running the redis setup in the same prefix shows repair/uninstall as only opts) OSX, latest stable HGL build...

Heroic Game Launcher not showing up

I am on arch linux and i recently rebooted my system and logged on and I had to update the flatpak version of heroic games launcher but when I did now I just cant open it. I click it, it highlights itself and it says its running in the bottom right but no window shows up. I right clicked the bottom right and clicked show but still nothing appears. Whats going on? ive rebooted again and uninstalled and reinstalled with flatpak still not working.

Wolfenstein TNO "Legendary (Epic Games)" error

For some reason, when I try to launch this game, i get errors. Sometimes TNO works just fine, and sometimes it doesn't. The USB I have the game on is a bit messed up, so its entirely possible it could just be that. But I'm trying to pinpoint anything else it could be before swapping the USB out. How do I add a console command to Steam?

Is that even a thing you can do? I wanted to play a specific Doom Mod and got it to work by using a command. I can't select the mod in the GUI for some reason so adding gzdoom alone wouldn't do much...

After running game i see only black screen.

Cannot get past launcher for Fallout: New Vegas running CrossOver bottle

https://0x0.st/XhbC.log I purchased CrossOver (24.0.5), and using their guide, I am running Heroic thru their bottle. I'm trying Fallout: New Vegas, it opens the launcher but after I keep going it just closes and nothing else happens. It's the native CrossOver version, not the patched one....

Overcooked: Gourmet Edition not launching

Shadow of the Tomb Raider: black screen after intro credits but sound works

When playing shadow of the tomb raider definitive edition via epic games, it starts and shows the intro credits screen (eidos montreal, etc...) but after that when the main game menu should appear it just shows a black screen, even though sound works fine. I found a fix on reddit, apparently epic patched in a login hook and that breaks when playing on linux/proton/heroic. Opening the log and visiting the login url manually works to resolve the problem fully. S.T.A.L.K.E.R HDR washed out, Game scope reports WSI layer error

I installed stalker 2 and HDR enabled with ENABLE_HDR_WSI and DXVK_HDR=1. Everything looks extremely washed out As an alternative, I tried game scope arguments gamescope -W 3840 -H 2160 -f --force-grab-cursor --hdr-enabled, but game does not launch and it gamescope reports WSI layer error and there might be a bad vulkan layer...

Can't install additional Fortnite content

Hello, I'm trying to install additional stuff to Fortnite (namely, Save The World) and it does not show up in the "Modify Installation" menu. From what I understand I could use the cli tool to add stuff on top of Fortnite but it throws me errors about missing python DLLs.

GTA 5 linux can't run

So today I wanted to install GTA 5 (I have the game through Epic). I installed it and when I tried to run it the rockstar launcher starts, but eventually errors saying that it can't find steam and that the steam client must be running (strange, since this is not even a steam game). After trying some stuff I eventually got the launcher running by switching to wine-ge in place of proton. However, now the launcher opens up, but it does not allow me to run the game, and only shows a button to buy the game. Any idea how to fix this? I have attached the heroic last play log file in case someone finds it useful....
