Joinhow can i use steam-style launch options?
i want to use this launch option for borderlands 2: WINEDLLOVERRIDES="ddraw=n,b" %command%, but The %command% syntax from Steam is not valid as game arguments. i do have steam installed if i can somehow launch an epic store game from there. what can i do? it looks like an env variable but env variable usually have a file path

I am unable to run any games through Heroic Launcher version 2.9.0
I just got a steam deck and I have installed Heroic Games Launcher, however whenever I try to install and play a game through the launchers, it doesn't load. As an example, I am trying to install Cristales, and I am using Wine-GE-Latest. After installation, I exit and enter the game page and I get the following:
```An error has occurred! Try to Logout and Login on your Epic account.

GOG Sign in not working as intended
I cant seem to get gog to sign in correctly, it goes to the website, i put in my password, it goes back to the client, but im not signed in.
[GOG] Heroic don't offer to download the linux version of the game "Pepper Grinder".
I just bought the game on GOG (through the sponsored link on your site) and when I install it only offers me to download the Windows version. Thank you.

I'm using HGL for long time now, and it's still working fine for all other games i run.
since around 3 days FS22 is freezing the whole system without any reason when running FS22
i check all the game logs, but FS22 did not log any issues (just the normal loading mods and so on)...

I want to run the games from Heroic, preferably without using CrossOverOffice (I have it, but I prefer to minimize use of closed source apps) or Lutris.
I found some instructions for Lutris, but is there a way to install the deps on Heroic in a way that's less manual?

Basically, Bakkesmod can't detect my rocket league install so it can't inject. Is it possible to run things as adminstrators or something? I'm using wine

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided won't start
Hello. I installed DEMD on an external HDD by specifying a different install path during installation. After it was installed I tried to run it. I can see the external HDD's light go on so it's actually reading stuff, but the game doesn't start. Nothing happens at all on my screen.
Heroic itself shows "Playing (Stop)" on the button for a couple of second before reverting to "Play Now."

403 when trying to download games from epic
Any attempt in downloading game from epic ends with game being added to queue, sitting there for a minute and then it gets cancelled. Logs say:

Launching Alpha Protocol from Steam results in what seems to be read only behaviour for the settings
Hello!
After I installed Alpha Protocol through the Heroic Launcher (Linux), I added the game to steam using the in built option on the Launcher. However, this resulted in some strange behaviour, as I cannot actually change the settings in game when it is launched this way. They try to change, get 'stuck' for a moment, then revert back to the way they were.
The complicating factor, I believe, may be that I have Alpha Protocol installed on a secondary drive that's not in my home folder....
Cant start Railway Empire
Hello everybody,
I want to play Railway Empire but it doesnt start. After hitting "Play Now" it shortly shows "running" and just about immediately returns to "Play Now". I cant see any window open and the log doesnt show any error I could try to google....
It says I am playing my game but nothing has opened
