Immich Mobile App Cannot Log In via OAuthService While Website Login Works
Cannot log in to Immich via OAuthService on the mobile app, though login through the website works fine with OAuthService. It worked fine before. I haven't touched anything on Google OAuthService. I am using v1.142.1.

Question regarding Docker container compatibility with read_only: true
I am in the process of deploying the Immich container and am looking to enhance security by running the container with a read-only root filesystem, using the read_only: true Docker option.
Before implementing this, I wanted to ask if this configuration is officially supported or tested. Specifically, I'm curious about:

Immich Docker crashing on first backup
Hi everyone!
I just setup Immich on my Proxmox Docker VM.
VM has 6 Core and 6GB of ram....

I want to build a co-occurence network. For that I need to get all asset ID's, and extract the faces with the API.
But how can I get all asset ids with python? The API does not seem to provide a route for that. Maybe I am just overlooking something....
Synchronisation on iphone duplicates
Hey, am I the only one that has realised that whenever you log in on an iPhone and try to set your photo's for an automatic backup, it continues to duplicate all assets by re-uploadiung them? Any way this could be fixed?
unable to map external library (fresh install)
I reinstalled everything (proxmox 9 and immich v1.142.1). My photos are available as a network share (samba and nfs) and visible in the immich container (I can list the contents). However for neither case I cannot use the external library. For NFS, path is validated but after scanning no photos show up and nothing happens in jobs. For Samba, it doesn't validate the path. They are mapped as below in docker-compose.yml:
- /mnt/pve/qnap/Photos/_completed:/mnt/immich/photos:ro
- /mnt/pve/qnap_photos/_completed:/mnt/immich/photo2:ro
The installation method used was based on Ubuntu 24 + docker + official steps on the immich website, including updates for pve/ubuntu.
However, when installing using helper scripts, at least the NFS share works (I run into other problems though, not all photos have thumbnails)....
Bad Gateway after updating to v1.142.1 from v1.141
Watchtower automatically updated Immich to 1.142.1 from v1.141, now I get a bad gateway error on the web app. This is a Saltbox install with traefik as the frontend. I get the following in the logs repeatedly.

Proxy headers/networking switching not working
I'm unsure of when exactly the connection stopped working but I noticed it after updating my iPhone to iOS 26. Now when I'm off my home network Immich fails to connect to my server through my external endpoint which is a proxied address and leverages proxy headers to bypass manual auth needs. Now it just fails.
I'm running the latest version of both Immich Server and Mobile app 1.142.1. On my iPhone I can still access the web UI no problem when external just the app is failing....

Background Backup With Beta Timeline
Since updating to the Beta Timeline my android app interface has been much better. Prior to that is was so laggy it was almost unusable. However my photos are no longer automatically backed up when on wifi. I no longer so options for foreground or background backup. There is only an enable backup toggle which is on, and I have battery optimization off for the app. Something I'm missing?
Is Storage template albums with exclusion?
In the latest versions, I no longer see "camera roll", so I think the only way to backup now is using "Recents"? Anyways, I have recents picked and wanted the directory struction like this UPLOAD_LOCATION/library/admin/2022/202202/20220203/IMAGE_56437.jpg
so I used this template {{y}}/{{y}}{{MM}}/{{y}}{{MM}}{{dd}}/{{filename}} which works great. But recently I wanted to add some folders and what I was hoping for was to get 2025/2024 etc but also have Albums go in a folder at the root called Albums so I used this
{{#if album}}Albums/{{album}}/{{else}}{{y}}/{{y}}{{MM}}/{{y}}{{MM}}{{dd}}/{{/if}}{{filename}} I then ran the template migrate job but what this did was remove all the 2025/2024/2023 roots and put them under Albums . Is there a way to EXCLUDE the Recents album from this?

My immich is not working properly. Is a reinstall a viable option?
So i updated my immich a few weeks ago, and it broke. Whenever i try to connect to it, the connection refuses.
I have no idea, where the error is coming from.
Immich runs on my synology in a container. Before i updated, i copied the entire container to a seperate drive.
Can i just uninstall immich and reinstall, put the files back and restore the sql backup? Or wont that work?
Let me know if you are missing any information, any help is appreciated 🙂...
Bug / Missing Feature : Batch Update Metadata in Album View
Hey. I noticed when you are in the regular timeline view in the web application and have multiple images selected, that you can go to the three dots in the top right and select "refresh metadata" to update all changes done to the metadata of these images. I would expect the same behaviour when you are viewing an album, but somehow the option to refresh the metadata does not exist in this view.
I dont know if this is supposed to be that way, but i am missing it.
I am manually changing a couple of fields in the images to make them more usable etc. I do this album by album, so if i want to refresh the images i would want to select the changes images or all images in one album and use the refresh button. But instead i have to either find and select all these images in the regular timeline, which would be quite inconvenient, if the images are in different years, or i have to refresh all metadata using the jobs in the settings.
Is this meant to be like this, or could you implement this feature in an upcoming release?...
