iPad Share photo not working
Using iPad Inmich App (Server version is 1.142.1 and app is 1.142.0 build.223) if I click on a photo and click share it pops up preparing then that closes but the share options do not show up.
Unusually Large Library Size
I just set up Immich today, and I ran into a bit of an issue. I have ~20 gigs of images and videos saved in a folder which I added as an external library. At first, the web UI said the library was the correct size, but then it slowly grew to roughly 3 times the original size. Is this normal?
Sync issues
Hi! I have immich running on a TrueNAS CE, both recently installed and the latest versions (except immich is 0.0.1 behind). When i select a folder to sync from my iPhone, it starts counting up files to-be-synched, sometimes it runs through like 300 files (of the ~2000) sometimes 50. But in general it does some and then conpletly stop. I have opened the app every noe and then and found that it has done a few more images, but now its been like a week. And its still not done.
Im running this behind a Nginx Proxy Manager server with HTTPS.
It seems to behave the same way on my wifes Android device. I have setup LAN address when on our wifi. Both devices has background workers enabled...

Issue with latest version
A few days ago, I updated to the latest version (v1.142.1) and my database didn't survive the migration. I have made a backup of the corrupted database and deleted the database file itself. Immich recreated the database when it restarted but there are no photos attached to any of the users. The photos are still in the folders, and I have backups of those as well. Somewhere during the last releases, tons of pics lost geolocation metadata
I’m absolutely certain the metadata was there - I exported it from Apple as sidecar XML, spent more than a week ensuring the import was correct, and even documented the whole process in a GitHub discussion. I did the manual import specifically because the standard phone import failed to include the data. Afterward, I double-checked: the GEO data was present. For instance, over 1,300 photos in the USA appeared correctly on the map.
But now, I’ve noticed that every asset which had issues during the standard phone import - and which I had fixed via the Immich CLI import using osxphotos exports with sidecar metadata - has lost its GEO data again. My suspicion is that this happened when the new filter for “assets without geodata” was introduced, though I can’t confirm that.
Looking in the folders now, the sidecar metadata files for those assets are simply gone....
Struggling with setting the Language/locale

I struggle with setting the locale for Immich "right". I want the language to be in English, but the dates to be in YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss (aka ISO 8601 aka the correct way, with the 24H clock).

Immich sometimes "timeout(?)" loading assets
I'm running into a bit of a weird issue with immich - when I'm scrolling through the timeline, everything loads up relatively quickly and fine.
However, sometimes (but not always!) when I click into a photo / video (more often with videos), immich will try and load then freezes.
Looking at the logs (
debug log level doesn't give me anything extra) - I noticed when it happens it captured some interesting entries.
I couldn't find out what each column means, but presumably the 100000.00ms column means something hit timeout? ...Unsure how to handle ports.
Hello, so I'm running immich behind a reverse proxy. It seems to work, but I occasionally see some errors in logs. I have this proxy host set up. Should I set up / forward any other ports or is this enough?
Sharing Album Sync
When I share an album like "Camera" in Immich that is also set to automatically back up photos, it seems that new photos no longer get added automatically to that shared album. Is this the expected behavior? In other words, once the album is shared and has automatic backup enabled, do new images stop syncing automatically into that album?
I want to share my photos with my partner and vice versa...
