Beta Timeline in 1.42.2

I've updated to 1.42.2, I still see "Beta Timeline" in my settings, latest iOS version, the release notes seem to indicate that 1.42.2 makes Beta Timeline default, so I was expecting this setting to go away entirely. Why is it still there as an option if it's supposed to be default. App & Server same version...

Specific assets reupload every time I open the app

I have an Immich server setup and uploaded assets from my phone using 'sync' feature. This has worked fine, but I've had an issue since swapping to the beta timeline (which is now the baseline timeline). A few assets (4 out of ~6000) are re-uploaded every time I open the app. It's always the same 4 assets. All 4 are movies, but I have many other movies for which this isn't happening. When I browse in the app to the offending assets, I see it twice in my timeline, one with the "in cloud only" icon and the other with the "not backed up" icon. Presumably the back-up isn't being recognized as the same asset once it hits the server, but I have no idea why. Any help would be appreciated, I can provide additional info upon request....

if i just tried to update and immich is now telling me to setup an admin user, how cooked am i?

currently gathering info but i was on immich like 133.1 or something like that and trying to update to the current latest version. I think i have a backup (untested) of the DB so i guess that helps. Curious if theres a recovery guide somewhere though...

Photo and thumbnails errors

Is there a log file or documentation that might help me figure out why I'm getting errors on thumbnails and images that were previously working? This is a fresh docker install (ghcr.io/immich-app/immich-server:release). I uploaded 2k? photos and video, about 12gigs worth, and it worked flawlessly. All of the recent thumbnails, videos, images showed. (in particular the ones in the shared image)...

Mobile App not showing all photos in server

I recently updated to a new phone, I went from a Pixel 6 Pro to a Pixel 10 Pro and after the transfer it appears that my mobile app while it is sending my photos to my server for back up, which I can see on web gui, The application wont show anything prior to feb 2024. My phone is on 1.142.0build.3014, server version is 1.135.3. I would love anyones help at figuring out what happened.

Failed to deploy a stack: compose up operation failed: Error response from daemon: manifest unknown

Hi everyone. Second time writing here again after a "failed" update from Server Version: v1.139.4 Latest Version: v1.142.0 I followed the exact same procedure as always: updating db when needed and checking everything was as expected in the new docker compose file and got this long error: "Failed to deploy a stack: compose up operation failed: Error response from daemon: manifest unknown" Server is down and I'm a little bit worried. If someone can drop a line or two about what to do it would be very much appreciated. I'm deploying via Portainer if that can help. Any other information besides the docker compose file I'm using and the .env that I can provide, would be provided if you can help me. Thanks everyone in advance....

Can’t turn off „allow self-signed ssl certificates“ anymore

I can’t turn off the setting „allow self-signed ssl certificates“ anymore. 1. I turned this on in past once out of curiosity 2. now I can’t turn it off anymore and I’m sure it was possible to turn off in past 3. I’m using self signed certificate but it’s with a root certificate that has been accepted in my device so it should actually not be seen as a self signed certificate (as in „accept the risk“ type of thing)...

Location management utility - No missing location filter

Hi, I was going through the release history when updating my instance of Immich and saw the 1.140.0 release with the possibility to manage images without location. https://github.com/immich-app/immich/releases/tag/v1.140.0 I updated my instance to 1.142.0 as can be seen in the screenshot, but I do not see the option to filter on images without location as presented in the screenshot of the release information. Nothing Seeing the Server After Router Swap

Today I swapped routers as a necessary evil for swapping internet service providers. I hate this new router, but my old unit used coax to reach the internet while the new setup uses ethernet to connect to the box that accesses the outside internet. Most of my infrastructure is still hard-wired. The DHCP range changed from 192.168.0.0/24 (old unit) to 192.168.4.0/24 (it doesn't let me change this). On proxmox, I had to change its IP address to the new range as well as the reserved IP addresses for the containers and VMs within it. Immich (in a VM) was reserved at 192.168.0.102, now is reserved at 192.168.4.102. However, simply adding the ":2283" to it in a web browser gets me the browser cannot connect to the page. Note: I use tailscale for remote access, and even making sure tailscale is up on all devices and using a tailscale ip is also not working. Whether tailscale is used or not, I cannot get immich to connect. Yes, I've updated the VM as much as possible....

Android app not showing server pictures

i just updated to new version on server and android app. I retarted app nothing popped up regarding migration, i did see the new Beta icon. I restarted app again, now it said migration. Once that finished i restarted again. Now it shows green connection, Server and Client up to date, but it's showing only local phone pictures, all with the crossed out cloud icon. It is not showing any server pictures. If I use the browser version, all the server pictures are showing up. What do?...
