Hey I was asking in the razbam discord if they can implement the same bump you feel in the F5 when you press through the aileron limiter.

In the m2000, despite being FBW there's an elastic limit that takes 40kg of force to pull through. It then let's the plane pitch up at a higher aoa I think, maybe breaking the jet though.

Kind of like the lever in the f18

Anyway he says he's willing to look into it but I'm not well versed enough in the mechanics of ffb to describe how the F5 makes that bump. Can anyone help?

For those with Rhinos, what grip would you recommend for various DCS modules? I have a Virpil VFX (with 200mm extension) for use with the F-14 module and a TM Warthog (which I was planning to use for a dedicated F-16 setup with a FSSB-R3 when I’m ready to take the plunge on that). Is it worth getting another grip for use with the F/A-18, AV-8, helis etc.?

I just have a Cosmo (I think it's called) with the extension. You'll need more 4 way hats for the A10 and f18 than the f14 grip can provide

It should be pretty easy because it's fbw and then just has a bump of higher force at the bottom of the pitch axis

With the Razbam modules the FFB doesn't work....ok the M-2000 is FBW, but the AV8 and Mig-19 doesn't have the moving trim implemented....I hope they won't do the same with the f-15e

Honestly I don't know about the m-2000...but the stick moving with trim is pretty easy to implement...It took just 1 hour to Duke (IFE) to implement it for the MB339 when I asked him....It just they are lazy or don't listen to the (too few) people in the FFB sticks community

The Virpil T-50CM2 'Russian style' grip or the VKB Modern Combat Grip Pro/Ultimate which is the same 'Russian style' have heaps of HATS & buttons upto 5 hat switches, 4 push buttons, 2 stage trigger, flip down trigger with button press when 'flicking' up plus the trigger stage & the brake axis lever too. I have the VKB MCGU & it's a beast of a stick, really the only stick you'd need, I don't thnk the Virpil has a z axis twist I know the MCGU has the option for a lockable twist. Also if you're keen on a force sensing base why not check out the Winwing Moveable Force Sensing Stick Base?
