Mto clarify, it popped up while the installer console kept showing "sudo: a password is required\nsudo: no password was provided" which I assumed was somehow related to the KDE Wallet dialogue as it kept showing up but nothing else was holding back the install

It's not a flatpak it would seem. Where are the configuration settings for this webapp manager located? I'm trying to see if I can copy them from one machine to another.

Tyou can do this if you want, but there isn't really "MO2 for Linux" everything you'll find regarding MO2 on Linux is just installing it into either its own prefix or into a game's prefix

PI wouldn't install more than 2 mods without a mod manager. And fyi, the TTW installer currently doesn't actually run on linux, but you can copy the generated files over.
Seems like Wine doesn't properly emulate GetDiskFreeSpaceEx Windows API function which I use. Free space check can be easily disabled in the installer though.
SThat's what I'm saying I've done it with Morrowind and it gets chaotic quickly with overrides
Tis this related to the issue where some installers calculate the free space at the drive level rather than at the folder level?
PI modded starfield manually, but that was only because it was so early-days there weren't enough complex mods to matter

TI always use winecfg with a new virtual drive to overcome it. perhaps it can be used here

Tso what happens is you'd usually browse to your folder path using
z:\..., but due to z pointing to root and a bunch of stuff going on there, this makes it appear that the free space of any folder is just a few GBTif you create new drive with a more specific target, it'll use that new target folder as the base line for free space. in my example above,
/mnt/second's free space will be calculated for d:\
