RAnybody got a recommendation for an extension for a VKB Gunfighter grip? I bought a 50mm warthog extension, and it fits fine, but now the grip spins freely.

MIf I can ask, what is the part number and price of that Simfab Rhino mounting solution? I'm doing a DIY build, and need to come up with a mount for my Simfab rig.
MAnyone got a video of ffb rudders working yet? Iβm kinda interested in the trimming of warbirds in them

MThat was a custom build. The plate used was their "universal" mounting plate. If you give them a call, Dimitar should be able to set you up though
FDo you use a vkb adapter? Can use virpil extensions under that and just tighten the adapter well
FI did it like that and mine is sturdy as a rock

CBtw does anyone have tips for sticktion on the pedal damper? Itβs more than I thought it would be and Iβd like to minimize it

THi everyone. I have a space motor and Controller board and was thinking to converting my VPC WarBRD Rudder Pedals so that it stays in place for helicopter flying. Does anyone have a suggestion how to do that?
NThese are the Ace pedals.. but AFAIK, the only difference is the pedals and brake axes...
As designed, it uses the 86BLF-03 motor.. but the 04 size would probably fit with a little tweaking

ARandom question: we're considering the FFB for a robotics lab. Is it relatively easy to programatically control the joystick's response?
AAnd follow-up question. For robotic simulator purposes (basically, having the joystick give opposite feedback when the user tries to steer a robot or drone too close to a "danger" area), is the FFB kit going to be noticeably different from the Rhino FFB?

RYeah I use the VKB adapter. The warthog adapter I bought doesn't seem to have enough threads to prevent the stick from rotating, I'll order an official one from Virpil. Is that what you're using?

HHello all and greetings from Greece. I really consider buying the Rhino, as a Microsoft ffb2 user until now!!! (yes dinosaurs exists 
) , and thinikng that i will miss ffb very very much, but i have a couple very simple questions to make if its not much trouble... The grips are still under their software or are depending on the rhino software? The rudder axis still usable? As i see the weight of the Rhino is about 6-7kg and during the flights and the use of ffb forces might go up about 5kg if i am correct, so the desk mounts are a solid solution or a more rocking solution is needed? Thank you very much for your time

Adepends on the grip
Avkb grips need the balck (or orange?) box and are controlled by vkb software
Aothers (I think) are more integrated solutions

COk so as promised here is a short write up on the SimFab DCS edition with a custom rhino mount Dimitar put together for me. I will focus on the Rhino integration because there is probably a lot of info on the rest of the SimFab setup. I will say though that all of the mounting solutions and tools were well organized and everything came together solidly, I am very happy with it so far. The hardest part was getting the seat back on to the seat lol.
As for the Rhino integration, Dimitar supplied me with a spacer and doubled up plates to be clamped on to the rudder tube part of the seat frame. This so far has worked perfectly, idk if heβs a genius or very lucky, but all the dimensions of how the rhino fits with this solution are super tight, the seat adjuster is barely not touching it, the standard stick travel is jussstt beginning to touch the cushions on the limits inside the seat cutout, and the pulley of the flipped Rhino base just clears the bottom of the seat. It is also trivial to access the cable connections in the large space under the seat with the installed risers.
The length of the Rhino with a direct mounted TM Warthog grip was too low to be comfortable in this setup, however, my Virpil T50CM2 grip that finally arrived alleviated the issue pretty much completely, since the height from the mount to the bottom of the palm rest (which is adjustable) is much longer than the TM Warthog. This brought it up to a much more usable height, and I think itβs pretty close to optimal, maybe a bit higher would be nice. Only issue with my setup is that I kind of run into my right thigh with the T50s palm rest when going hard right roll, but that is likely due to me putting the right side mount grip over the seat, I can just adjust it out and likely have no issue at all.

MWas just on the phone with him and waiting on a call back atm. That looks like he ran my setup, but without you having to grind that bolt, because of that spacer. I run a short extension to use multiple grips, so that wouldn't work for me, but it looks good
CYea my goals were full travel with minimum extension if any, and with the way it is now I guess it hit both requirements so Iβm happy
MFor sure. The extension I run is usually not set above like 40mm. It's 100% only there to allow me to use any grip I want, since RS hornet, TM WH, Virpil Alpha, and Virpil Tomcat are all different heights. Also planning to add Virpil WarBrd to the stable as a B8 stand in (I don't have a problem, you have a problem :P)
SAnyone who knows how i should set up the Gazelle in DCS special menu? When i press trim it doubles the stick output.
