I am trying to setup my new Rhino with my Realsimulator F-16 grip. Right now, I've tried both generic grip, and generic grip (Realsimulator 64-button), but no button presses register on the Rhino side. The grip BLE funtion works fine, but no buttons on the Rhino itself. I tried plugging up a regular TM Warthog grip set to generic, and the buttons register fine. Anything I'm missing to get the RS grip to work correctly?
Anybody happened to have got both VP-Joystick and VP-Pedal FFB working on Condor2? I'm getting control input for both Joystick and Pedal working, however, only one can get the FFB effect. 90% at time the joystick gets FFB, sometimes the Pedal gets FFB. The issue well might be on Condor side, I'm just wondering if anyone have got both working simultaneously.
If I had to guess, the sim most likely has no concept of FFB on the rudder axis. FFB pedals are extremely rare and there has never anything remotely resembling “affordable” pedals (talking in terms of ms sidewinder land). It’s unlikely the devs would develop support without gear to test against.
I guess the same, or the Condor2 may not be anticipating two FFB devices to work with at same time. I wish the FFB pedal was not this rare. It's been some 25 years since the last time I played the MS Combat Flight Simulator with the Sidewinder FFB (1st model). I'm so happy I've got the VPforce FFB setup. Somebody has mentioned about this awesome FFB solution in the Condor2 forum so I'm hoping their devs will look into this rare but existing(and growing I'd like to assume)demand someday.
Finally got the Winwing adapter but it’s shaking and cannot be secured. How can I fix that? I saw a post suggesting rubber washer earlier but not sure if it’s same problem
I saw your video first but then after several tries it works pretty okay now without washer. Now just need to find a mounting solution. It’s very tall with the adapter and extension so I might as well somehow fixed it on the floor
In the VP configuration tool you can select Winwing adapter for the grip. Not sure what it does because generic grip seems to have worked anyway. But bottom line is, it works just fine with Rhino
No luck yet. Useable since I’ve been assigning buttons via the BLE portion of the grip, but still nothing registering on the Rhino itself with that particular grip
I know a few RS users that successfully use their grips, so this instance is kinda strange. Since the grip receives power and BLE works fine, I assume the connection is good with the grip.
A plywood sheet 10-15mm (depth) that's big enough for your seat to sit on with the Rhino mounted in front, you can even have it big enough to go under your desk & have rudder pedals sit on top too. Just measure where the Rhino will go drill the 4 holes & put some small bolts in from what will be the bottom & then once in place you can bolt the Rhino in place on the "floor" right in front of your chair.
Thanks for the suggestion, I just finished a quick and dirty version (Just drilled 4 screws into a piece of plywood and placed in front of the seat) works perfectly fine.
@walmis FFB Configurator Spring Gain Map Graph Appears to be Reversed When adjusting the spring map, the graph adjusts the gain in the opposite sense to the axis movement displayed. In the attached image the position of each axis as indicated should result in the mapped spring gain. However, the gain is as mapped for the opposite direction. In this example, the gain is zero for the indicated postions but follows the map when moved in the opposite direction.
My Rhino Y-axis is inverted (e-stop facing forward). X-axis is not inverted but the direction of movement displays in the map graph and in the display on the settings tab as expected.
Same ting to me. I have just mounted a Winwing F18 stick with the winwing adapter and is not recognizing the trim switches. Have you managed to make it work? Anybody else has the same issue?
Hi! I'm encountering a strange behavior on my Rhino, occurs with both aircraft I tried this morning (DCS Tomcat and Hornet). It's almost like effects from TelemFFB are full force, but I get no resistance (compared to yesterday) when pushing/pulling the stick. Would this ring a bell? I did not remember modifying the settings since yesterday, tried unplugging both USB and power brick. Pot is 100% and set to Master Gain.
