we prefer users use flatpak, distrobox and even appimage over layering fedora packages with rpm-ostree, but if you really need something at a system-level then use rpm-ostree as a substitute for dnf and reboot when you install the package. can also install COPR repos with this too
why are Flatpaks considered so much better? I mean I honestly prefer downloading things through a GUI too but the Discover store pisses me off beyond belief
It's not AUR specifically as much as the fact that big Linux distributions like Arch and Fedora tend to have every app you'd want through a terminal install command, Arch's is just the biggest afaik
