SI'm contemplating on getting the F14 from Heatblur in MSFS. Anybody able to compare the FFB with the F14 there (using TelemFFB), is it as good as with DCS?

NI don't own the aircraft so I can't speak to any potential feature compatibility issues (i.e. due to non standard telemetry for example) , but from a TelemFFB perspective, there's nothing special about that aircraft. It will be treated as any other aircraft you create a profile for so all the same effects would be supported as in any other MSFS aircraft.

SThanks for your input. So the reason why I ask about this plane specifically is that the FFB for F14 in DCS was touted to be the best even before we were all saved by TelemFFB. From your sentence I do not quite see how would TelemFFB differentiate between F14 (non-fly-by-wire) and F18 (FBW), but presumably that is integrated in the flight models themselves?

MtelemFFB (for DCS at least) does not run the actual FFB, that's handled by the sim itself. TelemFFB runs the additional effects that can be provided through the motors, which are not provided by the sim.
MFBW FFB is (depending on jet) kind of just like running the Rhino in spring mode, the hornet at least has a little bit of realistic tension gradianting when it's commanding G though, which ime makes it feel better to fly on than a traditional gimbal

BWalmis said yesterday he expected them in first week of may. So couple of weeks 
MOh, that's not bad! I already put myself on the backorder list, I'm getting this regardless if I can get my virpil on the base or not. There's no way in hell the 3d printed version would survive a 2nd joystick mounting in the future

TCan the FP force rhino replicate the pitch detent of a center stick?
TNot to the same extent, but a measurable increase in force before allowing futher stick movement
JWas there a kit supposed to be made? I printed a kit for mine and it works amazing.
MThat is one thing that FFB doesn't do very well.
MYou can edit the gain curves in the software, but too much opposing force in the middle and you'll get oscillations.

OGuys this is going to sound stupid but does the kit assembled just bolt onto my pedals I already have. ?
It says full assembled kit, my MFG crosswinds have the damper fitted.
Do I have to remove it all and fit the kit ?

WYou wouldn't need a damper anymore, FFB does the damping
IWhat exactly does the FFB pedals replicate in airplanes? The braking ? and do pedals get stiffer with speed? a bit of rpm vibration?
