Jwhats the difference between 86BLF04 and the 86BLF03 motors? if you buy without the motor do you need anything else besides the motor to complete the retrofit?

TCan the FP force rhino replicate the pitch detent of a center stick?
TNot to the same extent, but a measurable increase in force before allowing futher stick movement
JWas there a kit supposed to be made? I printed a kit for mine and it works amazing.
MThat is one thing that FFB doesn't do very well.
MYou can edit the gain curves in the software, but too much opposing force in the middle and you'll get oscillations.

OGuys this is going to sound stupid but does the kit assembled just bolt onto my pedals I already have. ?

WYou wouldn't need a damper anymore, FFB does the damping
IWhat exactly does the FFB pedals replicate in airplanes? The braking ? and do pedals get stiffer with speed? a bit of rpm vibration?
IWhat about toe brakes, any resistance added to them? Usually pedals are too soft and hence makes braking too sensitive.
AI don't think there's any ffb in the toe brakes in any design I've seen
Bwouldn't it make more sense, especially engineering wise to use a loadcell for those ?
IIn real planes the stick is what gives you feedback in flight, but rudder pedals not much, they get stiffer with speed, that is all, no pedal buffeting when stalling, only stick, so if they can have the toe braking power giving more resistance that would be great, but feeling the stall, and many of the other effects in the pedals would be a bit unrealistic in the case of airplanes.

WI fly ‘em all man - but mostly helicopters and warbirds. Cold War aircraft quite a bit, less so modern stuff.
MI'm the same and focus on older gen modules vs fly-by-wire. FFB is all that and a bag of chips. First thing I noticed was the visual/audio queues built into DCS to inform the player they are pushing max AOA etc occur later than what you feel with FFB. It isn't a huge gap, but it is significant. It is something you have to feel (no pun intended) to understand. I have been inefficiently over controlling modules for literally decades thinking I was riding the edge only to discover I was robbing myself of turn performance the whole time.
WThat’s a good point - honestly the audio/visual cues in DCS seem to be ‘hey that’s beyond the limit’
WEven though, as you say, in reality you’d be able to feel the edge through flight controls
MNot having to stare at the AOA meter in the Tomcat is a game changer as well. That is one module that is night and day with FFB

FThe diy kit is only the motors and electronics to allow people to make their own

MI haven't read anything about other 2-seaters in DCS with both players using FFB. It is pretty small user base. I'd imagine thanks to the Rhino (and DIY kits), we will find out at some poijnt

Dand that's it, honestly I am not sure why you spent 1/2 hr on this, it's not rocket science or anything, it's very simple and intuitive. 1 example I have is landing gear, I only want it to feel it on my butt so I set it up like this
Dnoting that this only activates the motors on my butt and not my back, this acheived a very simple setup for me. I see no benefit to Simshaker Aviators as it doesn't offer anything over and above what this program does for me, my original statement was only simply pointing out that I would have liked them to add IL-2 to their software, as they already have MSFS, X-Plane and DCS
Fhey, has anyone table mounted their rhino? Prospective buyer here...I wanted to get some monstertech table mounts but not sure if theres enough throw allowed in that setup?
