Pthis is a great question. silk doesn't provide anything built-in today, so every dev will do their own thing. you could use embedded resources if you only have a few small assets, but otherwise you'll probably want to use
these can be accessed using AssetManager

Pyou'll need to roll your own abstraction to pass to your xplat code, but that shouldn't be too difficult

Assets<Content Include="../Assets/**/*.*" CopyToOutputDirectory="CopyIfNewer" CopyToPublishDirectory="CopyIfNewer" /><AndroidAsset Include="../Assets/**/*.*" />I'll give that a shot a bit later then, i'll let you know if that works. Very much appreciated on this, I've had a very poor time finding documentation on how to do this, so thank you!
Pyeah some of the .NET for Android SDK interactions aren't that well documented, but happy to be of help 
IYeah for sure, I've done some crazy stuff and figured out weird APIs but .NET Android stuff it's like it may as well not exist

Pif you use the concrete type, the dictionary APIs are non-virtual which means that no vtable lookup is needed
Pthe JIT can elide vtable lookups occasionally, and PGO also kicks in after a while in practice, but all of these are inconsistent optimisations that it's better to do the right thing for in the first instance anyway
