FOh, that screenshot was before I loaded the default config. I missed that. Still, after loading the default Rhino config and spring effect strength at 100 the issue persist.

WLooks like some application created an inactive spring force or maybe the effect left dangling.
If you run DCS you need to start the actual flight, otherwise the stick will be limp in the menu.

Aso according to your debug tab -- there are no springs applied, you said you applied a spring in your previous screenshot -- but it's not showing there, did you press apply affter setting the spring values to 100%?
A(also yeah -- if you're running a game at the moment, it may override what you're doing)
FI started DCS and the A-10, worked fine and when quitting, the spring came back. Thank you guys!
Aas a general thing for me -- i like to have no forces applied by default, so it's obvious when the game takes over
R@walmis Is there any ETA on the updates for RealSimulator grips? I'm using a RS F-18 grip and there are three major buttons that are not detected using the RealSimulator grip profile. They are Recce depress, Sensor Control depress and Trim hat depress. I screen shoted the debug info for these three buttons, and I was wondering if this information would help updating the RS F-18 grip. Thanks

TI had mine apart yesterday for other reasons and I discovered that the plug in the Rhino had slipped down and was not making correct contact with the adaptor. You can take off the two screws and lift it up a but, push the cable up from the bottom to help. (remove the dust cover.)

1Finally got my rhino base built late last night, plan on plugging it in this afternoon. I’ve yet to have time to comb thru the manual… if a few short words can someone explain the purpose of the setting vs effect vs teleffb or whatever it is. Keep in mind I only fly dcs and mainly helos! Thanks in advance!
THave you tried pushing down the connector hard to make sure it’s seated? A lot of times it seems the pins just need a little extra to make contact.

1Is there a setting to give more holding power at the central trimmed position? Looking for a more constant spring load as opposed to progressive.

1Ummmm. It does help but that’s not what I’m looking for, unless I was doing it wrong…. Think of it as I’m wanting a preloaded spring feel, or a linear spring. Almost center detent like without the bump… does that make sense

Mhello there, @walmis when you last requested i send in a video in the debug mode showing the twist grip values, were you able to view the video i sent, and is there anything more that is needed while you work on the latest update to the register size for the twist grip
HPut an additional point on the spring curve (symmetrical) and steepen the first part of the curve. That will greatly enhance the initial spring force right from the center (and increase the centering power).

TFixed it. If my logitech 502 mouse was plugged into the hub, it killed the rhino. Bizarre
1I finally discovered this! Only issue is the sick starts oscillating and vibrates if it’s too step, if I could get that sorted that’s what I was looking for!

HDon‘t make the incline too steep or too big. And you may need add some dampening/friction to keep it from oscillating on itself.
[Hey, I got an issue with the y-axis motor. Inflight i just felt an uneven spring force for pull/push (pull weaker than push) It has 2-3 Amps difference for full pull and push. So it’s no imaginary feeling. My understanding of the software is, to manage the power output related to the springforce at a specific deflection?!
Also the X-axis feels more powerful at all at the same gain overall.

1How do the end stops work exactly? Is 100% the full range of the calibrated range or the 21/22 deg the rhino is capable of? Reason I ask is I was going to remove my 12deg limiter and use end stops to test different throw degrees….
MIm having trouble sourcing my own motor as the ones I've found either seem to have the no integrated drivers and they have different specifications than the ones on the vpforce website. Can anyone help me out?
