BQuestion: Why is Bazzite ostree based? (if that make sense to ask)? Seems to just complicate so much, and make things much more difficult. and installing small programs takes minutes...

Anormal distro simplify install but complicate debugging, using ostree makes it easier to reproduce problem since it is the same image

Jyou shouldn't be interacting with it often, ostree is for the composition of the images
Tboth have equal features but iirc gnome wayland doesn't work with VR yet

BI often feel like I have to use it thought? I install programs regularly. Everytime I use any flatpack there's always something that doesn't work. I just spent the last hour or so trying to install google chrome without it being a flatpack, because of course it also had proglems with certain developer features not working). It worked once I finally got it installed as a non-flat pack.
BIs all "installed" applications on linux not matter what system you use basically "containerized" ?
Bor is it only flatpacks, and rpm-ostree is only making the install process secure?

Ktypically you shouldn't need to layer all that many things. A lot of things are fine in flatpak or distrobox etc.
BI've not had a single important flatpak work properly for me.
