Pbrew won't blow out how long it takes to update and you don't subject yourself to unnecessary layering
Pyou can thing about brew like a flatpak but for cli apps
Postree itself is half the reason updating takes so long

Pmost apps are just leveraging other runtimes for portability, or redownloading actual binaries as a part of the formulae
Pso it doesn't really provide any actual guarantees that macos / linux CLI apps will play nice with each other, we just usually have smarter developers than that
Ai dont find any formulae named koi, if it is cask then rpm-ostree/distrobox i guess
