How do you approach a situation where a build doesn't work as expected due to variables changing, skipping, or being overridden by included meta-layers? The build is technically successful, but the outcome isn't what we anticipated. How can we debug this kind of behavior and effectively track variable values and overrides?

Dhey @Renuel Roberts , my response came in late but, I really appreciate its modular design and the wide range of drivers available. These features make it easy to create flexible and efficient solutions for various embedded applications, all while ensuring that everything runs smoothly in real time. hope this suffices.
UI mean to say generic Python, but it doesn't matter if you'd consider micro Python. Companies usually expect candidates to have problem-solving abilities irrespective of programming languages

Are corporate interests slowly undermining the true spirit of open-source contributions in embedded systems? Can big companies and the open-source community ever find common ground, or are we heading toward inevitable conflict over control and innovation? @Middleware & OS and @MCU, MPU & Firmware
KFlip that round - open source has over time filled more and more of the niche. Things were far more proprietary a decade ago.
CI want to know why this question now? Has anything happened in recent times?
BI strongly believe and also weakly hope that open source software systems are and will be simply better in many metrics.
Dnot per say tho...but I hope the future of open-source contribution in embedded system should be community driven as opposed by some folks that thinks otherwise tho

The most commits to the kernel come from corporations (Microsoft is actually one of the biggest contributors to the Kernel!).
A lot of the kernel maintainers are employed by corporations.
However, none of that stops individuals from contributing their bits to the kernel.
I see it as a positive that enterprises can commit things that improve software for their use case and as is the spirit of open-source - everybody benefits.
If an enterprise tried to block commits to an open-source project, then with the 'cancel culture' the bad PR would be bad for their bottom line and so very quickly counter-productive.

I’d be happy to take a look at your code to help pinpoint the calibration issues. For the ICM-20948, you might want to check the specific register map and data sheet to ensure you're reading the right values, as it differs a bit from the MPU-6050. Could be helpful to review your Gyro calibration routine too.
