Looking at things like the Linux Kernel....
The most commits to the kernel come from corporations (Microsoft is actually one of the biggest contributors to the Kernel!).
A lot of the kernel maintainers are employed by corporations.

However, none of that stops individuals from contributing their bits to the kernel.

I see it as a positive that enterprises can commit things that improve software for their use case and as is the spirit of open-source - everybody benefits.

If an enterprise tried to block commits to an open-source project, then with the 'cancel culture' the bad PR would be bad for their bottom line and so very quickly counter-productive.

They have active communities and plenty of projects to contribute to. You can explore open source repositories on GitHub related to IoT, robotics, or home automation great places to start

I’d be happy to take a look at your code to help pinpoint the calibration issues. For the ICM-20948, you might want to check the specific register map and data sheet to ensure you're reading the right values, as it differs a bit from the MPU-6050. Could be helpful to review your Gyro calibration routine too.
