@walmis It is working again! Thank you so much! It worked after I plugged the Rhino in a different USB port. It kept working though after I plugged it in the original USB-hub again. I can think of two possibilities here. Either the logic board needed a 5V power cycle after the firmware update or somehow the order of how the devices were plugged in the Hub mattered. (I did some cable management lately, so the order may have changed).
Thanks for the quick response! Problems wise: trim not working anymore (at all!) especially noticable off course in heli´s. But even F-18 didn´t work when telemFFB was active. Also busy with testing other device (MIGS) which apparently also had an issue when working together with the rhino. That was fixed with a software update from the migs side so I figured that was playing up again. Anyway, I´ll try the new firmware and disconnecting USB when I have some time later. However, would be nice to have at least to possibility to downgrade the firmware..
also after firmware update started having issues with spring force applied momentarily while moving joystick in about center area. In the video clip you can see that sometimes spring force jumps very high for a split second.
right click->properties on the EXE for the new configurator version. See if there is an option to unblock the file. This has happened to one person I know of for unknown reasons.
Thank you for an advice. I think I had issue with windows archive extract function. Once I used winrar to extract archive, configurator started working. Still having issues with jerking forces on the joystick. Seems like it happens when joystick crosses zero point on the axis.
If you are interested in critical issues related to I think firmware, my rhino keeps "crashing". Shutdown chime plays in the middle of flying, and I have to cycle the emergency stop to get it up running again. Started after I updated the firmware + configurator + telemffb (to WIP version) in order to solve another issue, where I cant run telemffb more than like once, before the .exe stops working and I have to unpack the whole telemffb from the zip again in order for it to run. My original issue wasnt solved by this so now I have both of these issues
Also, any fix for this issue on the configurator? I keep having to reinstall so much software constantly because it just stops running, doesnt start, after a while. Both the configurator and telemffb...
The best way is to reset calibration manually to min 0, max 4096. Apply settings. Enable spring force so it recenters the motors then put on the belt while everything is centered.
The telemffb just does not start. running the exe does nothing, I get the loading spin thing on my cursor for a few fractions of a second, then its just a no start.
Hi @walmis I sent you a DM regarding one of the limiters in my last order that was sent with the wrong angles. It was supposed to be Y22 and X16 and I received the standard 11 on both axis.
Increase the gain for periodic effects (guns, shudder) and constant force (g-force, de-accel) in the VP config…..and of course master gain if it isn’t on 100 Assuming you already maxed out the settings in TelemFFB
i have pot #1 to 50% as spring, and the actual Spring force is 100%...so basically 50% spring if i am not mistaken....btw. I have the smaller diamater wheels.
I'm using throw limiter that is not assymetric. I have 20 degree pitch foward but only 15 deg backward. My stick center is now foward 3-4 degree. How do I correct this?
