Is this coefficient fixed for each module or does it change with other parameters such as deviation or speed? Is there any dynamic aspect?
I understand that this coefficient implies the following %, assuming saturation = 100%
F16 X = 99% = Maximum; Y= 50%
F18 X/Y = 99% = Maximum
HUEY X/Y = 1% = Minimum
A10 X/Y = 99% = Maximum
F14 - X/Y = 99% = Maximum
I am surprised the information coming from DCS modules regarding configuration of FFB is so basic.

A10 - Center Y =-2626
F14 - Center Y =-1639
(hence, the reason why A10/F14 have a different position of the stick)

It depends on the module. In general however,
Warbirds and the like will vary with airspeed
FBW aircaft like the F18 will by static
Helicopters will be static. Spring force will go to 0 when trim release is pressed

The F4 has the most advanced implementation. The gain varies by airspeed and the bobweight is simulated by shifting the centerpoint in response to g-loading.

In aircraft where the stick moves in response to trim input, that will also be handled by the centerpoint of the spring effect.

It is annoying to have the A10, F4 and F14 sticks so far forward by default. I've been successfull at least somewhat in tweaking it back with a setting suggested here. Might be endstops

restart software / PC and thing i made an oppsi is: make sure your profile isnt set to be a chopper had that on the mirage F1 accidentally put it to chopper and the moment i went to fast it just went ballistic with the overspeed turbulences since a chopper normally aint fying 500 kts

If you haven't touched the Rhino configurator or TelemFFB it probably is something about the export lua and stuff.
There are more knowledgeable people on here with better ideas probably

Good day all, I have a G940 running at the moment but I'm thinking about upgrading to a Rhino. Mainly flying modern Jets and Helicopters I'm not sure which kit I should take. Is the base kit enough when coming from the G940 or should I go to the medium-sized kit instead? Hope you guys have any first hand recommendations for me

Hi, I have the 86BLF04 motors fitted in my home made setup including rudder pedals. The torque is so great that I limit the master gain to 70%. My gear ratio is 3.6:1. I have never measured the torque produced at max levels. The other benefit is my motors never get hot, and therefore I have no need for fans. As an Ex PPL pilot and someone who is involved in building new flight sims for the military, one of the key benefits of the FFB is not just the feedback from control surfaces, but the subtleties of feeling stalls, buffeting, gear and flap travel etc.... One of the biggest positive impacts of using the FFB is Trim and Force Trim, they make flying even more immersive, and in some cases easier. If you are fighting stick pressures when you are not manoeuvring, you are probably not flying "correctly". Trimming was hammered into me in my PPL training by an ex-military instructor, and it makes flying more pleasurable and less tiring. Currently I am building a second identical setup for my son. However, I do not think you will lose much by buying the standard motors, plus they are cheaper if budget is an issue.

Thnx for the reply, I mainly use the FFB from my G940 for trimming so this is what I mainly want to upgrade. The G940 is too limited and too old now. I use also basshaker in my rig for all kind of effects wich works very very well and is super immersive, especially in VR
