AYa, it is. I assume it's entirely a bandwidth decision. Also the last rugged remnants of traditionalism
Anyhow, they tend to fit box-like column formats well.
Inside open brush they are currently easier to use, in general, even if not quite as sharp.
No reprocessing, can quickly open a bunch in browser tabs, easier to frame shots

MI received a scholarship from Unisys, so they bought me 
Agifs are bigger than the equivalent video file unless you're doing something very weird with your compression settings (or doing pixel art)
AAlso, can add them in the background without much overhead, which is something I've been thinking about a lot, though haven't used much

AI've got a project planned which will probably use a lot of them, just haven't got to it
Afilming video on video didn't work well, iirc. also the gifs fit into box frames better
AIn terms of concrete feature changes from this - can i summarise?
- Someone will hopefully play with the gif presets inside Unity and suggest some new presets
- If I get feedback about the quality setting, then I will tweak that
- Still need to pin down whether quality issues is related to post-processing or not.
- I'm considering adding user presets to the config file so allow people to define their own gif presets.
AThat "box" thing again. Is it not possible to make square videos?
AI'd really appreciate improvements to the docs around video, gif and image export. I don't use it enough. You lot use it all the time - you can do a much better job of documenting it than I could.

I usually just hit the camera button and push record, haven't experimented a lot with it. Haven't done paths for a while.
As far as export, just goes in the documents/open brush/snapshots folder (or video) and grab it from there
If there was a square panel preset for video I'd probably use it.

AI know some sites were autoconverting gifs to autoplay webm to cut their bandwidth bills.
AAChrome's autoplay policies are simple:
Muted autoplay is always allowed.
Autoplay with sound is allowed if:
The user has interacted with the domain (click, tap, etc.).
On desktop, the user's Media Engagement Index threshold has been crossed, meaning the user has previously played video with sound.
The user has added the site to their home screen on mobile or installed the PWA on desktop.

Is that the time between frames, allocated processing time per frame, something else?

Aframe delay seems to be "time between generated frames" - so essentially the frame rate
A0.05 = 20fps
Abut - i haven't actually tried it - so let me know what you discover

UCould someone help me out, both open and tilt brush launch into a black screen. i can see my controllers but i cant do anything. What can i do to fix this?

- What headset? Standalone Quest or a PC headset (if so which one)?
- Do other VR apps work correctly?
- Can you take a screenshot of the controllers? Is the screen completely black?
- Do you see the logo when it's opening up? Does Tilt Brush show the intro sketch?

UI’m sorry I should have included this to start with. I’m on windows 10 with a valve index, everything works perfectly fine. I can’t talk a screenshot right now but I can upload one later. Its just black but I can see and move around the controllers I just can do anything. I see the initial steamvr logo on opening it up but that’s it. It just goes black
