Is there a way to hide storage space from showing up?

you could probably also set some custom css to hide it globally across the server, and then it wouldn't be a per-user config. I am not sure on the exact html element you'd need to apply visibility:hidden to though

there are tools that can upload a folder as an album, I'm not sure if the immich-cli supports this off the top of my head, I do know that immich-go does, and there are also various github scripts that will accomplish similar

that's upto you. I did that initially but eventually ended up uploading everything to immich so it was all on the internal storage. This way the storage template applies to all of my media and I don't have artifacts here and there

If you're trying to check free disk space then you need to write a script yourself to accomplish this - if it's not the number that immich is reporting

You could look into a tailscale tunnel alternative, generally CloudFlare tunnels are advised against because they add restrictions, and they can see all of your data
