Issues with audio devices in Bazzite
I have multiple issues with Pipewire in Bazzite.
The first is that switching to the the "pro audio" profile for my Arturia Audiofuse Studio USB interface in the control panel kills all sound. The interface has a "multichannel" profile, and that seems to work, so I've been using that instead. Pro Audio profiles for my HDMI connection work just fine, so it definitely seems like something about the hardware profile for my audio interface.
The second is that I cannot switch any audio device to a sample rate above 48khz. My audio interface, onboard soundcard, and HDMI output work with sample rates at least up 192khz, as I've used 96khz and 192khz in Windows for all. Using the PIPEWIRE_LATENCY environment variable when launching applications does not change the sample rate above 48khz, however the buffer size is successfully changed. Attempting to set the default clock rate in a pipewire config file simply kills audio playback system-wide. This happens for my onboard soundcard, HDMI, and USB interface....

initrd slowing down boot
Hi everyone,
I installed Bazzite a couple of weeks ago on a brand new desktop computer (I have a dualboot with Windows installed on another disk, but Bazzite is my primary boot OS).
I noticed about a week ago that it was suddenly being fairly slow to boot (more than 1 minute whereas it took barely 20 seconds before)....
Solution:
Yes ! It was my computer housing’s usb ports that weren’t working properly, once I plugged everything on the motherboard it solved my issue :) I was also having an issue with my built-in Bluetooth adapter on the motherboard, which also seemed to slow down the process and wouldn’t work but I unplugged the power cord, replugged it and now it all works perfectly again

flow x13 2021 (GV301) support
Hello guys.
I've been trying linux distros and following the project for a while and after yet another bug from windows, I decided it's time to jump ship.
I saw there is support for flow z13 and for some rog Ally handhelds, but I am not sure if those images are the right ones for my systems.

Sleep issues
Hej I am having the best time with Bazzite for months! Most things run smooth but I have one issue: if I turn off my monitor or let it go to sleep, the computer can’t recover and I have to restart it.
Is there a workaround?...
Scaling after rebasing
I rebased from bazzite-nvidia-open:stable to bazzite-dx-nvidia:stable. Prior to rebasing, scaling worked as I wanted it to. I have scaling set to 120%, because otherwise everything was too small for my liking on 100%. When I rebased, most apps became quite blurry, including Discord, Steam, games (every game I've tested is limited to 1600x900). You can clearly see in the pic that text is less clear compared to the desktop elements. I also attached a pic of my display settings. Keep in mind, my se...

OBS Studio refuses to give me correct screen resolution
Dual booted Win11 with Bazzite. Nothing but problems from the start, but I stay optimistic. Pull the drives out of machine. Put them back in one by one so Windows has no choice but to install itself on the only available SSD and after that Bazzite had zero issues installing.
PRIOR to that everything was working 100% perfectly in Bazzite.
But now I fresh install applications back on the OS again. Boot OBS from clean install and it does not cope well at all. Says my recording resolution needs to be 6678x3756.
When I click to try and change that, only get to choose from 426x240 up to 1022x576.
The next reso available is the prementioned leviathan variant. WHY is it doing so when my Samsung Odyssey G5 34'' display only goes up to 3840x2160 as is currently set?...
Keyboard and mouse not working during install
So with the looming forced windows 11 update I decided to go Linux. I've seen several youtubers using Bazzite with great results. So I've downloaded the iso and used Rufus to create a USB installer. However when the installer loads I cannot use my mouse or keyboard to do anything. Both work in Windows, the BIOS, and on the live boot of PoP OS.
I'm using a Ryzen 5 5600, Radeon RX 6650 XT, 32 Gigs of Ram on a Gigabyte A520M S2H motherboard....
Solution:
Okay, seems I got it fixed. Had to unplug and plug both back in twice. Sadly I cannot fully go through the install at this moment because I still need Windows for a few minor things. I'll be buying a new SSD in a few weeks just for Linux so I can switch between the two.
second monitor native resolution suddenly not available
hi all, just checking in if this is an issue anyone else has encountered - as of my latest reboot today, my second monitor is only reporting a max res of 1280x720@60hz instead of the 1920x1080@100hz that it was running at for months, both in the kde settings panel and xrandr. only recent configuration change was i installed nushell via brew? couldn't see any open (or closed) issues pertaining to this kind of thing. have tried the obvious things like powercycling the monitor, rebooting. gpu is a rtx3060. thought it might have been kernel modeset flag getting randomly flipped to off or something but:
~> sudo cat /sys/module/nvidia_drm/parameters/modeset

Screen flicker/tearing
In gaming mode ui, it flickers/tears. It only happens in the gaming mode ui when I am not touching my mouse, and it goes back to normal when I move it around. I have a nvidia gpu, and running it on a desktop (on a hard drive). The flicker doesn’t happen in desktop mode or while playing a game, only on the gaming mode ui. I don’t have a HDR display, and it’s at 60hz.

Performance issues and crashing
Really enjoying bazzite but most games are literally unplayable, cyberpunk and black myth wukong drop about 20-30 fps compared to windows 11 no matter the settings and I simply can’t play Spider-Man as it crashes instantly asking for more vram.

I'm dual booting bazz with win11.
I was trying to make a shortcut on my desktop to reboot me into win11 ;like how on steam you can hop back to steam in game mode when on desktop; and viscera on win11. Game mode black screen with sound on RTX 3060

Resolution/aspect ratio issues when running non-game apps in Game mode on Legion go
When running desktop apps in game mode, the screen resolution and aspect ratio is for some reason not set to the native 2600x1600, even when the resolution is set in the game properties. The apps seem to have random aspect ratios and resolutions for some reason. I've tried changing the resolution in properties, maximizing the apps in desktop mode, setting the programs to use their own resolution and system resolution in desktop mode, none of these have made any changes. Nested desktop has a simi...

How to mimic the macOS Caps Lock behavior?
Is there a way to mimic the macOS Caps Lock behavior—where a single tap switches the input method (which defaults to Left Shift on Windows and Linux), and a long press activates Caps Lock?
I have tried to remap the "Temporally switch between first and current input method" key but it will switch the input method as well active the caps lock.
I also tried to disable the caps lock key in keyboard-key binding section but the caps lock key is... disabled....
iLok on Bazzite?
Hi all, I've tried a couple things like trying to use Lutris or Wine to install iLok Device Manager, but I'm running into the installs failing. I know this is pretty far outside what the distro is intended for, but is it still possible to install the app in some way that I haven't thought of? I'm a relative Linux noob, so I'm a bit unsure of where to look besides Bazaar, Wine, Flathub, and dnf.
