Missing Language Input
Today I saw that my Chinese input method "Pinyin" has dissappeared. I tried to re-add it, but it seems to be missing in the "add input method" fcitx settings panel. I have several computers on Bazzite and only one of them have this issue. Anyone know why it's gone and how to restore?
No GRUB display signal during reboot
When using
reboot in the terminal or the GUI restart option (same thing i'm pretty sure), from Bazzite specifically, I don't get a video signal (HDMI cable) until the login manager loads. I can still interact with grub when my peripherals light up, except i'm doing it blind. This does not happen when I boot from shutdown or reboot from windows or arch (both of which are booting from GRUB).

Efi file system option not showing when trying to install bazzite to duel boot with windows 11. I split one of my drives though windows and got to this point
If Legion Go volume is set to anything between 75% and 100%, Startup volume plays at max
The sound is as loud as possible and highly distorted. I would expect this behaviour if I rebooted the device at 100% but anything at or above 75% or so causes it. Rebooting at lower volumes behave as expected, it is only above this threshold. My main concern is the cracking and distortion of the noise, as it it sounds exactly like a speaker being pushed too hard and could lead to actual damage to the speaker.
[CRASH] Green Screen + Audio Cutoff
Hi,
How do I debug and fix this issue? Whenever I use my PC on Bazzite and use it for a while, the screen becomes entirely green and whatever I was listening on my YouTube just cuts off
From that most likely it's considered a crash? Please help, anyone experiencing this? My CPU is AMD Ryzen 7 9700X and my GPU is NVIDIA RTX 4070 TiS...
Plasma 6.5 taskbar not working
Hi all, I'm not familiar with reporting bugs here, so please be patient.
Since switching to Plasma 6.5 on Bazzite with the latest update, I've been confronted to really frustrating issues. The first was the infamous black screen with mouse after login, which seems to be fixed.
Since then, it's the taskbar which behaves erratically : my app launcher randomly cease to show the menu, either by clicking it or with the Super key.
The button indicator lits up, but no menu. I've tried resetting my Plasma configuration to defaults, either by using the gui or with the terminal, using :...
Kde wallet at every boot for wifi
Every time i boot, i need to do a password in kde wallet to access the wifi, how to remove it ?

Deadlock lag
I know this might not be the place but I can not find any guides tailored specifically to Bazzite. I have recently made the switch from windows (~3 weeks) and everything has been going great, had no performance issues in any of the games i've tried so far. Except Deadlock. Everyone has been saying Deadlock runs great, perhaps even better than on windows, but for me that was not the case at all. Its laggy and full of lag spikes. I've tried different launch options and versions of proton, yet nothing has worked so far.
Any suggestions on the fix it? I'm on an Intel i7 and an Nvidia RTX 3050 GPU. Really confused how deadlock of all things struggles....
screen size doesn't fit tv display
the screen size doesn't fit the display so i can't see all informations on the screen.
the resolution of the tv is 1920x1080, it doen't fit when i apply this resolution but it fit when i apply 1360x768
how can i fit with 1920x1080p ?...
Numlock locks up a-key
When I press numlock (or have NumLock on startup enabled) the a-key seems to be locked up by the system.
If I have a terminal open I can see that 'a' is continuously being entered in the command line until I press another key. Typing 'a' anywhere else doesn't register at all.
It seems like the issue disappears when I log out and in again. Then things work until numlock is pressed again....
Xbox Controller Audio
Can I use my xbox controller's audio jack through usb like it does in windows? xone apparently supports it and it's said to be pre-packaged with bazzite, so it should work, no?
How to configure buttons on G502 Hero?
I've tried both Piper and Solaar. Solaar is a confusing mess and doesn't seem to do anything. Piper successfully sets some buttons but not others and seems to set the others with "shift+key" instead of just "key". Any ideas?
Bazzite Download 404s
I'm looking to try out Bazzite with a Live ISO, but the download link throws a 404 error. My choices for the download are ASUS Laptop, Nvidia (RTX Series), KDE, and traditional desktop experience. The link to Download bazzite-asus-nvidia-open works, but Download bazzite-asus-nvidia-open Live ISO (BETA) leads to a link that 404s, telling me "This object does not exist or is not publicly accessible at this URL". I'm not running any spicy extensions or a vpn, and other downloads work just fine, exc...

Discord keyboard shortcuts don't work when window isn't in focus.
My discord toggle mute bind doesn't work anymore unless discord is the window in focus. I'm on GNOME. Anyone else seeing this behavior? Wondering if it's an issue with a recent discord update or something else.
Sunshine unable to use HW encoding
Hello! My server uses a GTX 980 ti so it's rather old, but it should definitely be able to encode with at least h264. I tested ffmpeg and it worked without any issues:

Terrible Audio Crackling in Indie Games
Several indie games I have tried has terrible audio crackling. It's reactive to game audio, but it plays this crackling instead of actual game audio. It seems to only happen to indie games. Maybe related to Unity, but it doesn't happen to all unity games, so I don't know. It sadly makes the game unplayable as I can't hear any real sounds form the game, and it's really tiring.
I have tried a few launch options like
PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=30 %command% with different values, but no luck.
Any clue? I attached a video of how it sounds, it's the same sound for all games. Any clue? All other sounds still sound normal while this is happening....Solution:
Update: I managed to fix this, I realized no one else was having this problem, figured it must be something unique to me. And it was. I have my headphones connected to a preamp, and in Linux's sound settings, instead of selecting the preamp's sound profile I set it to "Default Alsa Profile".
Fixing grub after reinstall...
I reinstalled the Bazzite Partition in a Dual Boot, but I think it overwrote the efi partition and now I can't get grub to recognize the Windows Partition. I still see the partition with the files inside, but
ujust regenerate-grub isn't finding it.
How do I fix this?...Screen Issues in deck mode
Hey guys! I'm having a problem. I installed Bazzite last night, and every time a notification pops up or I adjust the volume (like you see in the video), the screen distorts. I enabled the 'Force composition' option in developer options, it goes completely black. Is there any way to fix this?
