Solutions - tiny doubt in a question
So here's a problem from the chapter solutions. I want to solve it using Ya/Yb = (Xa/Xb)(P0A/P0B)...
I've reached up to this eqn: P0bxy= Pa - Pay - Pax+ Paxy. What I don't understand is where did that x term go in the original expression of Pa. Is it cuz we're taking x = 0 as it is an exp for Pa? I guess that is it but would like to confirm....

In the solution of the question, it is written that since f''(x) <0, f'(x) < 0 and f(x) is decreasing function which is not true right? f'(x)>0 AND f''(x) < 0 is also possible ig? So is there another method for solving this question?
