Bed temp on Leviathan

Hello. I just switched from a Octopus 446 to Leviathan on my Minion. Everything is working great so far, but my bed temp is off. Shows 6c when it should be about 20c (same as extruder). Just out of curiosity I switched the hotend and bed wiring and the bed is showing correct in the hotend side, but now the hotend is showing around 6 in the bed side Everything is fully updated as far as it'll go. ...

Solution:

@miklschmidt it seems the Leviathan baord needs by default this setting pullup_resistor: 2200

Do I need to do anything special in ratos 2.1 for a 4028 fan?

I’ve recently upgraded to 2.1.0rc3 and want to add a 4028 part cooling fan. I’m currently using dual 5015 fans and would like something a bit stronger.
Other than the wiring which is covered in the build guide, will I still need to adjust my printer.cfg as such [fan]...

Internal error during connect: module 'extras.resonance_tester' has no attribute 'SweepingVibrations

After setup of RatOS v2.1.0-RC3-21-g31ad483fand selection of my boards including the correct X/Y accelarometer (connected to Host) i still get this error message. This still comes when i try to comment all sections referencing to the accelarometer. I have a VCore 3 500...

its crazy. after 4 full setup retries it now worked ! What did i do. New Image, Update RatOS, Reboot, Refresh Update Manager, Update Configurator, Reboot, Refresh Update Manager, Update the rest. Whats confusing me a bit is that the Update Manager no longer shows RatOS in the list ?! Is this correct ?...

I'm getting the error above after i updated to rat OS 2.1 and also did toolhead upgrade. Any ideas whats going on?

Existing command TEST_RESONANCES not found in RatOS override

No beacon model on first calibration

Hi! I can't go through the "initial_beacon_calibration" process. After homing x and y everything stop with "no beacon calibration model loaded". It's not the first printer with ratos 2.1 and beacon but it's the first time I get that error. Everything is up to date.

Post-Processing in RatOS - What is ti for?

What is Post-processing for in RatOS v2.1? Especially for single carriage printer?

just to give you one example. Every single slicer moves after priming with high speed to the print area at the first layer height. on printers like the v-core 500 with their big bed this can ead to scratched surfaces

Performance mode?

Vcore 3.1 500 octopus board with EBB 1.2 toolboard, orbiter 2.5 extruder, phateus rapido hf hot end. I notice in the machine setup wizard if I enable "performance mode" it changes all the stepper motor drive current from 1.1 to 1.6 except for the extruder motor which remains at .707 regardless of performance mode or not. I'm looking to speed the machine up. My question is if all the other motors current are upped doesn't the extruder current have to go up as well to keep up with the new speed of...

Solution:

0.707 is already the rated current for the extruder motor. Bumping it higher will cause it to overheat.

RatOS v2.1.0-RC3-20-g90dce855 First Layer Inconsistencies

I am probably doing something wrong regarding beacon contact usage. I have followed the guide here several times without ultimate sucess. https://os.ratrig.com/docs/configuration/beacon_contact. I am running the initial calibrate, getting success with some gantry twist, have tried automated Beacon Scan Compensation as well. Seemingly I have an issue where after the prime blob it adds the temp offset comp but its either too high or too low without much consistencies. If I turn off temp offset comp and manual step during first part it completes fine. I run this in console, SAVE_Z_OFFSET as instructed. Next print its usually too close but ocasionally not, I am not seeing anything on the nozzle. any advice on how to debug this? Still learning the ratos config file structure and what impacts what and best beacon workflow....

Hey! Please try adding the heatsoak variables here: https://os.ratrig.com/docs/configuration/beacon_contact/#new-bed-and-hotend-heat-soaking-time and then redoing BEACON_RATOS_CALIBRATE Additionally (if that doesn't do the trick) try reversing your hotend fan (so that it draws air through the heatsink instead of pushing it through)....

ratos 2.1-rc2 issues (no initial config)

I created a fresh SD card using the July 28 ratos 2.1.0-rc2 image for rpi. On first boot, I got a "unknown config object 'bed mesh'" error. I attempted to update all the repos to the latest, starting with the ratos configurator, and now the ratos repo is marked invalid/uninitialized by the management tool: and also I get the error: Existing command 'TEST_RESONANCES' not found in RatOS override and the initial config tool never comes up. am I missing something totally obvious that everyone should be remembering, like I was supposed to go to ratos/initial-config instead of just ratos or something?...

BTT eddy config with G28 called recursively, and calibration failed.

Hey everyone, so I had some trouble with installing the BTT eddy DUO to the existing RR v-core 3.1 500, with the klipper updated to the latest commit to acquire the native support of BTT eddy. Solution:

To wrap up the whole journey and to help other that looking for solutions: 1. Make sure the BTT eddy is "2~3mm ABOVE" the nozzle, in my testing, you can still have successful calibration up to ~5mm-ish.(Creds to @EODesigns ) 2. DO NOT use the probe mounts from the BTT official repo(https://github.com/bigtreetech/Eddy/tree/master/3D/EDDY_PRINT_PARTS/EVA3), this mounts will lift the probe too high, causing GUARNTEE failure when doing "PROBE_EDDY_CURRENT_CALIBRATE_AUTO CHIP=btt_eddy". 3. To solve the above problem, I design a height-adjustable BTT eddy probe mount, from remixing existing induction probe mount, which you can find here(https://www.printables.com/model/1124920-btt-eddy-adjustable-probe-mount-for-ratrig-eva-3-s)...

New Build Fresh Install everything new Beacon Issues

per @miklschmidt request i made the post for you. Im trying to do input shaper and keep getting this error, beacon is calibrated, homes does all that just fine but input shaper will not work from klipper screen or web, cant test belts either, latest ratos 2.1 everything updated, vcore 3 500

Vc3.1 Hybrid/ Ratos 2.1 Y0 position

How do I get Y0 to the front left of the Printer? It currently is on the back right side and I'm not quite sure how I'll get it to the left front so it is X0/Y0. The z tilt positions are also swapped Back left and back right, but I guess that has to do with Y0 nor being in the front left. As far as i know the vc4 hybrid homes t the front, but there has to be a way to change that to the back right.
